didn't get a chance to watch until just now - even given how much the Pissed-Ons suck, we looked much, much better

my take - Gortat has to start. how can he not? Also hard to see how Duds doesn't start, too. though he really is a great guy to bring in with the 2nd unit. Will he be happy if Hill plays another one or two years? That worries me. Duds is a great tema-first guy but damn, he's earned the slot. (And I love GHIll, too - cant' knock him at all. Tough situation.)

RoLo - meh. Hakim played himself out of the rotation, fair enough, but I feel for Chills - and he finally has the splint off

Lastly - this officially marks the first day of the Lawal Era

Happy New year, guys - hope it's good to you

Happy New Year bro.

I still like Lopez and the length. Having two legit 7-footers is awesome. Lopez just needs coaching. We need to get that guy a dedicated big man's coach. Like, I don't know, even a special assistant to Cartwright to specifically focus on Lopez. His errors are fixable.

Hakim, meh, I don't care about him much. Didn't care for the signing when it happened either.

If Lawal emerges, then we reallllllly need to send some dudes outta here.

Childress must stay, though.

Not to piss on the parade or anything, but if the Suns lost this game at home, it'd only mean that they had been playing better than their record.

Which would be intensely depressing.

From Elias: The Suns defeated the Pistons 92-75, ending Phoenix's streak of 388 consecutive regular-season games allowing more than 75 points. That was the second-longest current streak of that type in the NBA. Golden State has played 593 straight games since it last allowed 75-or-fewer points.

Wow five seasons without holding someone under 75 points. Hope this isn't a fluke.
