One thing that will drive you crazy with Vince is on defense he senselessly cheats waaaaaay too far on double teams that he doesn't even always need to be involved in and then closes out waaaaay too late on the shooter.

Neither. By all metrics (dRating, plus/minus, adjusted plus/minus, net PER, def. Rebounds/48) he is one of the best defensive shooting guards in the league. Whoever told you his D was poor is an idiot or a liar.

Toronto's PPG against soared after they traded him, as did New Jersey's. I suspect Orlando's will to. Orlando only averaged like 92 PPG against before trading Vince this year. Watch them average 95+ for the rest of the year.

Hi all. I'm new here. Another VC fan and a fan of the NBA way before VC. I know some of these guys from vincecarteronline.net. Hi fellas!

I'm hoping for a some positive for the Suns out of this trade. Revive some hope and revive Mr. Carter. 33/34 is too young to be "done". Mike was still leading his team to championships....but then ....that's Mike. We must remember VC was the man and still averaging 20/5/5 the season before he went to the Magic. A player does not drastically fall off like that all of a sudden. The Magic system tried to change VC into something he was not ready for at that/this stage of his career(31//32 years old). Hopefully it isn't too late for him to regain some of that aggressive, confident, baller attitude. And come on VC, CRANK THAT SHEIT!!

On another note, I was rooting for the Suns in '93 Barkley,KJ,Tom Chambers,Dan Majerle, Mark West, Cedric Ceballos, Richard Dumas, Frank Johnson(didn't like him at all)....damn I called all those names off the top of my head. I was sick on the NBA back then
