So many Vince haters in here, the guy still has talent, his knee has got to be killin him though still. One night he will drop 29 pts and double digit rebounds, the next wont even score 10 pts. I personally wouldnt mind having him on my team, at a much lower pay rate though for sure. As far as the Pistons are concerned, the only players on that team id be interested in would be Stuckey or Monroe.

Yeah, I'm not buying that rumor. What did they do, send out a mass text-message survey? I bet they talked to like three players: one Amare homer, one JRich homer, and Childress's best friend. "Pssh...who'd want to go to PHOENIX. That would suck to play alongside the best PG of the last decade, in the best offense of the past decade, in perfect weather 9 months of the year. What a hell-hole."

That's like when magazines rank the best party school. What do they do, send out a few e-mails that say, "Hey, do you guys party??" "Yeah, dude, we party ALL THE TIME!!"

However - Rip and Maxiell for VC? Ask for a 2nd rounder as well, maybe 2. Rip is a good defender, ballhandler and would be a great partner for Nash. Maxiell is a beast inside

they seem very eager to move Rip

Traxxx...keep the inside info on the DL...it's in everyone's best interest. Seriously.

As for the topic at hand...I'm pretty sure everything being said is true in terms of people not wanting to come to phoenix because of Sarver. It's the same situation with the Clippers...no one wants to play for the racist Sterling. Sometimes owners can definitely change the perception of a franchise and obviously it's happening in Phoenix. We had to overpay to get the FAs we signed in the offseason.

Everyone has to overpay for free agents. But again, that was only this year. What about the bargains we continued to get? What about Barbosa's and Raja's amazing contracts? What about bargain basement guys like Jimmy Jackson and Tim Thomas? There have been many, many players who have signed. I don't buy it. Phoenix is one of the most attractive destinations in the league, and for more than just basketball.

I don't think Suns will have ANY problem with free agents this summer. Team is growing up, franchise is stable, etc.
Offense wins games, Defense wins championships...

Hill for 3 million. And the biggest bargain of all: Nash for 11 million.
