Eat very clean, and do whatever limited excercise you can.

-Update-
Given the all clear from the doc to go and shoot hoops, which is such a relief. No drives though, just jumpshots and post moves. Definatly no pick up.
I was going crazy sitting on my ass all day. Been a bit slack with my healthy eating, and I think I gained a bit, but I'm going to do a hardcore cardio workout when I'm 100% again; not to worry.
I know 6 weeks isn't really a long time, but it certainly feels like it. For all you guys that have had major injuries in teh past, I really feel for you. Must've been torture sitting on your ass for 6 months.

Sounds like the recovery is going well which is great. As long as you stay careful til it's fully recovered you should be good to go pretty soon!

Yeah. The worst thing that can happen is if I go back to playing too quickly, and end up ripping it again. Just have to stay patient...

Eat like Nash to stay fit!
and do weights to prevent losing muscle for your upper body! I suggest not doing anything rigorous for the lower body, you don't want to cause more harm.
Get well soon!

BUMP:
I hate to treat you guys like "doctors on deamnd," but I have a question/querie here.
A couple of days ago I was playing basketball, and landed on my right fot normally, but I felt a real sharp pain at the bottom of my foot, like it tore. The intense part of the pain didnt last long, but it jsut ached after. I think its the Plantar Fasciitis, but I'm not sure. All I know is that it hurt in the left side of my (right) foot where the heel arch is.
Now, my foot is generally okay. I played basketball for three hours straight, but except that I tend to curl up my toes because it I lengthen them, the usually pain starts again. (If I'm running)
Anyone have any ideas what it could possibly be?
P.S I hate to sound like a frikin' hypochondriac. I really do. All I'm looking for is advice. Not sympathy.

Just give it some time I think. Be a little cautious on court though, and if it gets worse, see a doctor.

You could do things like lightweight seated kettlebell snatches/cleans for time for your cardio workouts. Kettlebells aren't too expensive. Just go get like 2 20lbs kettlebells. You can do a lot more with a kettlebell than you can with a dumbbell, so I'd advise against a dumbbell weight set.

Re: OT: Ideas on How To Stay Fit When Injured?
eating health is actually more important than exercising in my opinion
I eat extremely healthy (not those no-carbs-consuming-a-million-grams-of-protein kind of diet, more like lots of fruits, veggies, nuts, whole grains and lean meat type of natural diet)
and I barely work out yet I'm pretty fit, not skinny but actually having a good frame
I haven't gotten sick in more than 2 years as well, not even cold

Re: OT: Ideas on How To Stay Fit When Injured?
Since this was bumped, I'm not sure if this is anything major, but was playing ball the other month and landed a little awkwardly. Didn't have any pain and finished playing, but when I woke up the next morning I had a bruise on the area right beneath the big toe on the top of my left foot. I couldn't put any pressure on the foot and couldn't bend my left toes at all.
The swelling went down and the pain went away, but I woke up this morning and had the bruise again on the same spot and couldn't walk. Just went for a jog the night before and didn't feel any pain. Not sure if I should see a doc for this or not, any one have any idea what it might be?
