Post#1 » by asdfgh » Mon Jul 4, 2011 9:12 pm

Assuming that all teams' rosters were cleared and there was a draft with the Suns having the 15th pick, who would you guys pick? The following players would be unavailable.

Chicago: Rose
Portland: James
Cleveland: Howard
Dallas: Durant
Miami: Griffin
New York: Wall
Utah: Wade
LA Lakers: Deron Williams
Orlando: Paul
Golden State: Anthony
Boston: Bryant
San Antonio: Nowitzki
OKC: Westbrook
LA Clippers: Love
Phoenix: ?

Steve Nash
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

I thought about this for a while, but I can't quite make myself take Bynum there so I'm gonna go in the other direction and say.. Steph Curry.

He just finished his second year and is putting up pretty ridiculous numbers playing next to some black holes.

Do you know how close he was to putting up a 50/40/90 year? 2 percentage points from the field.... that would have put him in elite of the elite company.

Can't argue with the Steph Curry pick.

yup

He looks like Steve Nash when Nash was younger, only BETTER.

If he ever "gets" the Nash-type "awakening", he'll be a 20ppg 12apg 90/50/40 for a decade.... IF he gets that awakening....

All good choices, not sure if I would draft a SF like Granger though, buts that's more personal opinion than anything.

I think you really need to chase a small and a big as your best 2 players, so hopefully a young talented guy like DeMarcus Cousins drops to us in the next round. Probably not though.

Miami choose... Griffin... over Wade? ^_^

I'm going with Russell Westbrook here, partially because I think if he were put on the right team he would be a great first option and an amazing leader.

Russ is already off the table apparently. I'd take curry, probably. But it looks like Chicago fails massively taking Rose before Lebron.

Definitely Curry...as others have said, so much talent and shooting ability at such a young age, not to mention he had to share his position with a ball hog like Ellis...

Steph Curry. On a team built around him he would be a superstar.
