A damn good center and we'd have multiple rings in the early 90's or mid 00's.

Have to respect Shaq but I still think prime Wilt would have the edge

Duncan is a legend, but you have to realize, Robinson DID a lot for Duncan in his rookie year, we wouldnt know how Duncan would of fared without a role model like Robinson to play and practice with.

I think Robinson is the perfect Suns-system center... because out of Hakeem, Shaq, Mourning etc.... Robinson shows he can run up and down ALL game without affecting his production.... he can just focus defensively and DOMINATE that ALL game also..... Suns offense means, they need a center/big man who doesnt rely on Isolation, but cutting in, finding a mid range look, or finishing either on a slash or in transition...

Robinson is dead set 100% FIT for that role.

Im thinking 23ppg 14rpg 4bpg 2spg without dominating the ball touches.... efficiency maybe greatest of all time if paired with Nash and gets the open looks based on Suns shooters..... wow.

Completely agree. Hakeem and Robinson give you basically the same production but in different ways. Robinson is just a much better fit.

I think Shaq has him easily. No offense to Wilt but Shaq is on another level for dominating thiis generation. I think Shaq in the 60's wouldn't lose more than 5 games a year.

I keep thinking about how they would fit with Nash/Suns offense.

If he could adjust and keep up with it, I'd get Shaq of course.

Maybe Duncan too.

Nah I still think you need someone who can run and/ or gun.

As far as centers go, I like David Robinson the most. I still recall him scoring like 71 points in the last game of the regular season to steal the scoring crown from the diesel :)

Wow just looking up Robinson's career stats, amazing.

Does anyone remember the playoff game where he lit up the suns for 40 & 21? also 3 blocks, 2 steals.

Incredible.

Oh and I like DRob because he was all class, much like Grant Hill. Sportsmanship award winner, gives heaps to charity, honored his commitment to the Navy. High character guy that the organization would have loved.

He's almost the antithesis of San Antonio Spur..

He was kind of a huge chocker though. That's why I would take Shaq or Duncan over him.

Choker. Much the same way Dirk has always been thought of as a choker.

Kobe/Shaq/Duncan. This three players were amazing in his prime, and we would be contenders with only one of them.

If I have to choose one: Kobe Bryant
