Hey guys. With this off-season seeming to be especially dry, and the notion of not even having a season, I thought starting a thread about each member's own basketball lives and experiences would be interesting to discuss.
I thought it would be fun to also profile each player/poster, giving each of them a chance to tell everyone a bit about themself and their game.
Hope this thread doesnt flop!

Re: The Off-Season Basketball Thread
eh, since i have nothing better to do, i'm just going to talk about my own basketball skills.
I'm a pass-first point-guard that likes to push the ball on every possession. I hate running plays that involve me walking up the court, slowing the ball down, and passing the ball in order of initiation. However, though I'm a pass-first guard, I won't hesitate to shoot, drive in for a layup, or even move over to play shooting guard. My favorite shot is running down the court and unexpectedly pulling up for a three! I communicate well on offense and defense, though my one-on-one defense is not too strong. Ironically enough, I was given the Best Defensive Player award this year. I'm a junior in high school. Last year, I was given Most Valuable Player. I averaged 18 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 steals per game.
Enjoy
