There are a few players who need replacing and would need to get replacements during the FA after the lockout to make us more of a contender:

Robin Lopez - His numbers keep decreasing, he is foul prone, he isnt rough enough, and has trouble on defense.

Hakim Warrick - He costs 4 million next year and with the draft of Markieff Morris we have no need for him. He was decent in filling in on such short notice but he will be an expensive bench warmer.

Garret Siler - Another center who has not developed into an NBA player yet.

Gani Lawal - Another PF who wont see playing time.

What we need after lockout:

A better back-up center. I can not stand Robin Lopez coming into the game for 5 minutes to foul three times and put up an airball is not productive.
I have Faith in J.D. to start at SG
Quite possibly a SF with potential for when Grant Hill retires and if Josh Childress doesn't improve.
To pick up a good back up center or even starter in FA would be ideal or a good SF would be the next best thing.
We also need Aaron Brooks to re-sign.

I will also personally record and edit games next year to be made available here after the game. He is a solid role player and always has been. We saw his potential. I love his defense as well and if we make the playoffs we need someone like pietrus.

I agree with Lopez Kick him out. what is funny is everyone talks like how he played in his 2nd season. He still sucked and had one or two good games. he never was even good at Stanford!

And in regards to Lopez. I mean one thing I love about the Suns is their team chemistry and I dont like the problems Gortat and Lopez are having. Lopez needs to go to just improve the teams overall well being.

And Pietrus I dont have a problem with to much. He can get Kobe like sometimes and just want to take some wild shots. He is ok and I think he is a good bench player but never a starter.

I agree about Dudley. Not only were his numbers solid, but he is a great teammate/locker room guy who hustles and is only concerned with getting wins for the team. Alot of people rip him because he isnt that athletic or offensively versitile without looking at his positives. If anyone new to sports wonders what the word 'intangibles' means then watch Dud's play a few games and you will understand. He deflects passes, dives on the floor for anything and basically pisses off who ever he's guarding. The fact that he came back with a solid 3 point shot after working on it all summer shows that he has drive and a higher ceiling than some thought. He's the kind of guy that makes you wonder- I wonder what jarred worked on this summer and added to his repitoire (or however you spell it). And this has nothing to do with basketball but hes also got a live wire personality and is pretty funny.

How many teams can say they have a solid starting shooting guard with all of the above positives secured for 4 years at 5 million per? Only the Suns.

Basically he is the Anti-Lopez.


And don't even think Peaches is going to get traded because there is zero posibility of that. The Suns are letting his contract expire at the end of next year to clear space for the 2012 free agent market.

For years 2011-2016, Jared Dudley earns a $125,000 bonus if the Suns make the playoffs. He earns another $125,000 if the Suns make it to the second round.
