Directv agreement with news corp/fox for some of their cable network are expiring. News corp has demanded that directv customers pay nearly 40% more for same channels they already receive. This sucks, because Fox sports net carries, Suns, Coyotes, D-backs, Arizona wildcats games and they planning to close it by November 1st. And other channels as well such as Fox soccer channel, FX, and other sports channels.
If I lose my favorite channels then I'm gonna switch to Dish Network and I believe most people will do the same. Directv isn''t cheap and its b.s they're taking the channels most people love to watch. Most channels on directv are pointless, instead of getting rid of those channels they suspend the good once and add more of them. Most people don't wanna watch advertisement, jewelry, food channels. We'd rather watch the channels we paid for.
