Easy:

1 Spurs
2 Lakers
3 Heat

4-29 everyone else, random

30 Suns

F*** you David Stern.

(I think I just embraced my inner Burningheart for a sec there :o )

Ironic for me to post this as I'm the one who complains about how bad Bleacher report is but I'm just so hard up for basketball I've even slunk back to that site, like a man visiting a skid row porn store - hat pulled down, collar of my raincoat turned up, hoping nobody recognizes me .....

So - for lack of anything to read, I'm at Bleacher Report, and for lack of anything to write, they analyze a three-team trade that sends Nash to the Magic.

That's the worst Nash trade I've ever seen.

Well lets face it, the SUns didn't trade Nash when they should have and now his value is only going down, so I say take the trade which is the best ur gonna get and move on.

I tried to work out a better one with the three teams and then just said, why?
There are better ways to waste time

I posted it because it was just so .... awful

It will either be a contender coming knocking, or the Suns will get very little for Nash. Even a contender will have very limited value to send in exchange and very weak picks. The team has to decide if they're going to ride their horse into the ground or send him off to pasture.

If the Raptors offered Barbosa and Bayless (Arizona PG) for Nash, it gives you both a young PG to compete with Dragic and eventually Brooks for starter duties of the future, as well as some firepower in Barbosa for another year, leaving you very similar cap flexibility the following year.

...and just to be clear, Toronto would not take Carter back just to amnesty him. It's stupid.

To amnesty VC would be stupid when he can be bought out for 4 million dollars. Hell no we dont want to give you Nash for Barbs (we were tired of him), and Bayless (Arizona ties dont pull on the heart strings). AND DRAGIC ISNT EVEN STILL ON THE DAMN TEAM!!!! That is another sore spot/argument among this board, a would that still will not friggin scab over and start to heal!!!
