I didn't say I wanted him, just trying to answer a question.

I didn't say that either but Frye and Bargnani are slightly different in that Bargnani has a post game while Frye doesn't. Bargnani is a Nowitzki-lite

I know, right?

No, we don't. We could, however, sign someone like a Carl Landry, Kris Humphries, Leon Powe, who would all be excellent spot starters (who get 25ish mins a game). Imagine Landry starting with Frye back in the role he flourished in (Odom role of 3rd big, F/C).

Hey guys, long time no talk!

Since VC is officially bought out and it's most likely that he's headed off to the Mavericks, I just wanted to say thanks for the time and letting us VC fanboys be here on your board.

I'm really saddened that things didn't work out with VC and the Suns, but I wish you guys the best. Good luck with your upcoming season, I'll still be keeping an eye on the Suns, and if you guys are in ever need of a gamethread, I'm always available.

Thanks again, and I'm sorry for the VC fans. We're an emotionally attached bunch, haha. Good luck again and thanks.

Bargnani being compared to Nowitzki?!?!
Signing David West?!?!?
Not enough cheering of VC leaving?!?!
Suns spending?!?!

This must be an alternate universe Suns thread

P.S. RvM, you were the only positive of having VC on the Suns, no joke, the Mavs forum is lucky to have you!

Looks like West to Boston for J Oneal's expiring $6m. NOH would then look to flip this onward to a team looking to ditch a contract and maybe picks.

So.. Why couldn't we have offered the expirings of Pietrus ($5.3m) and/or Lopez ($3m)?

*ahem*

As a man who lives in Toronto and has had to put up with Bargnani...

He is a waste of skin in any role other than bench spot-up shooter. Use Bargs like you'd use Matt Bonner. He is so awful on defense, it will make your head spin... just like watching his head spin as guys drive right passed his slack-jawed arse.

And his post game sucks and is inefficient.

He is, however, a pretty good mid-range shooter and if you set him up well, he shoots set 3s well.

Better off with Frye, he's cheaper. Hell, better off with Bonner, he's DEFINITELY cheaper.

Good to see Vince leaving Phoenix, hope he does well in Dallas. Glad to see the Suns didn't pursue West, they need rebounding and some work at the rim (though I'm looking forward to a full season of the Polish Hammer).

We got punk'd when we put him in the starting spot. But it's alright the Suns took millions away from him, so it's all good. Plus his old team gave us $3 million, so the buyout really only cost us $1 million

Do we stil have the MLE? Move Frye to the starting lineup and play Bargs off the bench in Frye's old role ... and get Amundson back, please
