The chemistry comes from Nash's ego-less attitude. He leads by example. His conduct reeks with professionalism and dedication. He is a diplomat and locker room statesman to the 9th degree and his #1 ambassador is Hill.

Look at this team now. It is loaded with selfless 'team' first players. Childress barely played last yr but did you hear him squawk ? Where as Barbasoso saw his minutes cut into, and pouted his way to Toronto. Marion cried himself to Miami. Stat stuck his finger in the eyes of the whole team with his me-first off season shennanigans... Joe Johnson got butthurt with his contract negotitations then was rewarded with an obnoxious deal, twice... go figure.

I'll take this crew and their attitude any day over most of the primas and donnas littered throughout the league. Sure they are a long shot to contend, but they sure are easy to support. Perhaps a few doubters ought to research the original 'Sun'derellas before they toss in the season's towell.

I want the Suns to win a title for Sooo many reasons. But mostly, I want them to win one for Al Mcoy! He's been very loyal to the Suns.

Doom or gloom or not, I love the Suns and will continue to follow and support then thru thick and thin.

Mr Mental, I made a comment about part of your post. I did not narrow or make a summation about what you wrote, you made a poor comprehension about what I wrote. I said nothing about how a coach would implement chemistry, so why would you attack a point I never made. After getting rid of both Marion and LB, I find it hard to go backwards, but maybe that would be best left to person that didn't learn from their mistakes. How many chips did we win with the SSOL teams? A team where the sum is greater than its parts will win more chips.

You then made a comment trying to discredit what I wrote, but I made no comments that would imply that I felt that way, nor thought that way. So don't throw stones and then cry when people throw them back. By the way, how long have you been watching the Suns? Quit being such a big baby.

We don't need a defense so much as we need a guy or two to rebound the ball after our misses and prevent your team from getting second chances. Why? Because if the team is properly constructed, I trust my team to outscore your team 100% of the time.

Defense wasn't the problem in 04-08, rebounding was. Rebounding was better in 1993 (Barkley) with a very similar offensive performance but we lost to Jordan in six. Who wasn't gonna lose to Jordan?

It's all about rebounding. And sometimes **** is circumstantial.

And that is why Lou was such a huge asset. It wasn't the numbers he put up, it was the extra possessions he added. I think Chill can be that guy. Whether he can inspire a team to give the amount of hustle that he does, like Lou did, is another question. But I sure hope so.

Don't worry Frank, I don't deal with children. I tell them how to do things, and they can either listen to me and move on, or they can pay some college professor to tell them the same thing.

As for your comments about the team, you are spot on. The idea you are speaking of was shown again in Denver last year, after they traded Melo. They were just missing those leaders like Nash and Hill.

Who does that leave us with? Just Kevin Love who might pick Golden State over us because of their improved defense and their need for an upgrade at PF. They can definitely afford Love if they amnesty Lee and trade Ellis or something.

The whole "we're saving up for next summer" is just bull crap that the Phoenix FO is trying to get us to believe in so that we won't be pissed off at Sarver during the whole season. Their just trying to save $$ for business reasons, not for basketball reasons.

Frank I'll see if I can cheer sf88 up. Even in the unlikely event we do not sign a single all-star type free agent next year there is a fallback position with lots of cap space. That position is to take on crappy contracts for 1st round draft picks or take on large contracts of other teams so they can get under the luxury tax. When you take on contracts as mentioned you demand first round picks. Think Kurt Thomas, Baron Davis, and more recently Lamar Odom. It will probably take at least three-to-four years of rebuilding through draft picks so I hope we can get the right free agents over the next two years.

If that is the plan, then why not just trade Nash & Hill away right now itself and get draft picks in the 2012 draft?

That will also allow our young players (Brown, Dudley, Gortat, Morris) to develop without Steve being on the team because we all know in the long run, Steve won't be there to help them.
