Overpaid for how he was used last year. If we get him going this year his deal will be a bargain.

No odd man out that I can see, other than Pietrus, who we'll probably ask to sit home.

This is how I thought it was going to play out too.

Yeah, me too.

Very excited to see Chills with a defined role and place in the rotation. Funny, I used to really like Pietrus in GS, but have no feeling at all for him now. Apparently he didn't fit in locker room-wise, which seems odd. I'd always heard him described as a funny, amiable guy. One of the columnists said his 'goofiness" annoyed the players.

I really hope this post is how it plays out

That is exactly what the plan is.

Something like this is what the wing rotation will look like.

Dudley - 32 / Brown - 16
Hill - 26 / Chill - 22

I doubt Brown gets under 20 minutes. But you never know with Gentry I guess.

And for people saying Chilly is overpaid, how the hell does someone "live up" to their contract if they are on the bench for almost the entire season. Blame Gentry.

So where does Warrick fit then? I've thought of him as more of a sf.

Come on T..... He's overpaid by 2 mill per yr.... that is a stretch from horrendous... Joe Johnson is horrendously overpaid.

Lets just put Chilly's contract amount aside till we get 20+ minutes per night from him.

As I asked earlier, to the superior minds around here, who grow silent when fact based answers are requested... just what kind of numbers does Childress have to put up to justify his 6.75 mill per ?

Warrick is an athletic dunking freak. Pair him with Nash midway through game for about 7 minutes, and he'll deliver. Play him alongside Gortat while MOrris and Frye are resting. A guy like Warrick, with his dunks, has the ability to change the flow and atmosphere of the game.

Only problem is his lack of defense and rebounding has the ability to change the flow and atsmosphere of the game too.

Every indication is the Suns are looking for athletic players who play good defense. Warrick is athletic ... is his BBIQ high enough to figure out the defense and does he have the desire to box out??

This.

I wonder if he can learn anything at this point, or is he just who he is. A shame - he has the athletic gifts to be a both-ends player

They should offer him up for Mo Williams. The Clips have so many pgs with Paul, Billups, Bledsoe and Mo Williams that maybe they would trade one to us for Pietrus and Warrick or something. I know it is wishful thinking but I can't imagine Mo Williams is terribly happy that they picked up two more pgs.

They also have Foye.

The biggest worry of mine with the team other than not having a legit starting pf (wish we had offered David West a contract instead of signing Hill, Brown, Telfair and Price) is how our team will play when Nash is resting.
