Merry Xmas to all, and Happy Holidays to everyone else.

On the way back from PHX tonight, we drove by a semi completely on fire. It was insane, I hope the guy got out ok, his truck part was forty feet or so ahead of the blazing trailer. I was in the passenger seat, and the fire was so hot when we drove by, but there was no firefighters on scene yet. It was way out there on the I10, so they probably just shut down the Ten, and let it burn.

I have no idea what caused it, but it was huge, and the whole thing was on fire except for the truck part. The driver must have seen his load on fire, and separated it, and pulled ahead a bit. We saw some cops heading that way a few minutes later, but I don't know what they were going to do other than to shut the freeway down.

I looked on the news, and it didn't say the reason, just that the I10 was shut down for a bit, and that no one was hurt. It said that a 53 foot trailer was on fire. :o
