Should we murder Alvin Gentry?

Yes. Get a new coach for the rebuilding years.

Yes, he's absolutely incompetent, can't run a team and his rotations are wack.

Damn, I wasn't aware people who can have fun are barred from being good coaches.

I think many of us will be hoisting a larger than usual number of glasses as the year goes on. Maybe we can start a drinking game, like when someone said "Bob" on the old Newhart show

Don't need to fire Gentry, this team just isn't as talented as other teams.

Its not about being "fun". To be a leader of men at this level of egos and command respect is no small thing. Its my opinion Alvin has the Suns players' respect and they will play for him. We've seen what happens when that isnt there - Terry Porter.

A fun loving partying former player with no leadership or coaching experience will not command respect amongst men. I love Dan Majerle, as a person and a player and love that he's an assistant, but i've spent time with him close up, he is no NBA head coach.

Great coaching again by Gentry. Leaving Nash on Holliday and giving Frye 5 minutes for the rest of the game after the 1st QTR in which he had 8 rebounds.

I have a question, does Gentry have any offensive plays in the book or is it all just whatever Nash runs and then freestyle with the bench?

Hire Elston Turner as HC!
