Blasphemy... pure Blasphemy.

Do not be seduced by the semi-heroics of the Boy Blunder. If he is not fooling, his trade value will surely go up too. Surely you do not think the GORTAT has peaked ?

I see us keeping both if we are tightroping a playoff appearance. Of course, unless Mt Siler erupts.

I know, I know, blasphemy - but, my reasoning is this. Lopez, if he can consistently play like this, is Good Enough and Close Enough and Gortat is much-loved around the league so can bring back better pieces.picks ... but I agree we are likely staying pat and going with who we have barring someone going crazy and offering Good Things for Chilly, etc.

I think the GORTAT is heads and shoulders above the Stanford MopTop. Thats it. Give me a better than average mobile all around center over a semi decent fundamentally challenged plodder any day. LOWpez has value, but I'd rather see his 'value' play along side the GMan than viceversa.

Side note.... you ever mess with the LA PBand X ? Buddy of mine ran with them right to a big liver and early demise.

Remember the 2010 playoffs? When we swept the Spurs? When we were one box-out from game 7 against the Lakers? What position was Frye playing?

This is the list of top NBA players ranked by offensive rating, i.e., how good the team's offense is while the player is on the court. So the year he played strictly the 5...HE HAD THE BEST OFFENSIVE RATING IN THE LEAGUE.

No the Amare-Frye defensive frontcourt wasn't so great--but the Lou-Frye defensive frontcourt was superb. And no defensive frontcourt that includes Amare has ever been very good.

JDoe and I were pretty friendly but the last 15 years or so a lot fo those friendships have lapsed - people get a bit older, families, kids .... great, great band though and I have huge admiration for John's singing and writing. Genuinely good guy

I was deputized into the posse.... had to wrangle down a few bandits. Guess you could say I'm some sorta hired gun. We brought the peace back to the prairie and I turned in my badge. They offered, but I opted to keep my mercenary-ish options open.

but una vez un ranger siempre un ranger... no what I mean compadre ? Now I gotta go find me a good sasparilla

OT but anyone know where Dwayne Collins is? We drafted him a few years back and send him to Italy or something...isn't he ready yet? Now that Siler is gone, we can use that extra body.
