Great to see Redd hit his shots.
But his defense was horrible. I don't think he has any lateral movement at all, and clearly no hops. His defense made Nash look like Bruce Bowen.

Tough game as I said before. If you can't box out you'll lose some games. Frye was to slow to close out on Jamison and even Gasol or Walton against the Lakers. Absolutely no reason for Brown there to be on the floor. He was horrible. Tough to see us lose at the board every game.
But why did Nash defend Irving when Brown was on the floor in the fourth? Brown had to guard Gibson. I just don't understand it.

Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

The doom and gloomer tag is unfair...
More like Realistic fans as opposed to Blind/High Optimists.
Either way Suns are better off for the future the sooner they acquire young talent.

Love it! So Doom and Gloom is unfair, but blind/high is?
Again, there was no way any of us would know that our normally great shooting team would suck at shooting at the beginning of the year. We also had no idea that Gentry would still suck at rotations and continue to play guys until the game is out of hand. Many games we were in and had leads until Gentry made changes, only to watch us fall behind and spend the rest of the game trying to catch up.
What happen to us getting Oden?

1. Good shooters? Suns have good spot up shooters. Suns need a star scorer for other teams to collapse their defense to for Suns players to get good looks. Frye has always been inconsistent shooter.
A team relying purely for long range shots to win is doomed.
Outside of Nash, the Suns do not have good shooters who can shoot off a dribble, under pressure or when defended. Ray Allen is I rate as a good shooter, so is Dirk.
Suns have spot 3 point shooters, there's a difference.
2. Greg Oden is indeed obtainable. If Suns truly believe they can keep him healthy. They can just offer Gortat. Because Oden can do what Gortat can but with higher ceiling and bigger size.
3. Run, did you add me to your "must reply to" list. Just to let you know you'll be replying a lot since I have a lot to post about regarding Suns rebuild direction.

We have had a ton of wide open threes without having a guy in the middle demanding a double. If you missed them, I am sure you can go back and rematch the games. We have just been bricking them.
Since JJ, who have we had that was great at a dribble and shoot? JRich? Raja?
I would want to see the data on that because those guys bricked as many as the guys we have. If we keep Nash, we need guys who space the floor. Normally we have those guys. Dudley and Frye have been 40%+ from three for a season. Grant does a decent job of a dribble and shoot.
Gortat is becoming a great midrange shooter, and has an ok inside game.
I have seen this current team kick arse, and they should if they are clicking on all cylinders. The problem is, we aren't using the guys correctly, and some guys like Brown are black holes on offense, which kills our system. Guys are getting down, and don't want to be involve in a rebuild, and who can blame them. Until we get someone who can coach these guys to their potential, and have everyone healthy, we will continue to have bad times.
Oden for Gortat? WTF!?
So we can have a seven foot cheerleader?
Please stop, please.
