If Nash was to go, this would be the way. I certainly wouldn't expect any media attention or press conferences pertaining to this since it would be uncharacteristic of Nash.

The only place I see Nash wanting to go is New York, but they don't have any players to match Nash's salary. They'd have to give up half their team to get Nash.

At least Warrick produces for us when given the minutes, and the fact we can play him at the 3 or the 4 makes it even better.

Why in your right mind would you Amnesty Warrick over Childress? Why?

I know Childress is having a pretty bad year so far, but it's still early. And I think that normally, he can bring more to us. Warrick may be playing better than Chilly this year, but he is still a guy that shoots too much, plays no D, can't rebound, and doesn't give out the energy I have seen Chilly put out at the end of last season. I would like to amnesty both of them if we could though.

Warrick's deal has the last year being a team option, so he could be done at the end of next year if a team chooses. He would make a better trade chip than amnesty.

I still can't see Sarver giving Chilldress $20 million for nothing. And it may have a glitch in the process. If you amnesty a player, if they are picked up, that new salary is subtracted from to old, and that is what the old team pays. What if they clear waivers? What if they play overseas? Do those salaries also get subtracted? If not, I could see Sarver not using the amnesty on anyone this next year. But I could see him using it in the 2013 offseason if we don't overspend on FAs this coming offseason.

The real issue I see is when will team's get desperate to win the chip this year? Can we get a team to give us another first for one of our better players? Will any team be willing to give up their first? Why the f*ck did we give up our second rounder this past year and this coming year to get two guys we rarely use, and are huge topics for amnesty? :o

Anyways, I am still against a tank. Losing breads losers. We may get a great pick, or we may get the next Oden, who rarely plays and will take up a huge portion of our salary.

I think that Childress has a higher POTENTIAL trade value. But again, if we could amnesty both it would be the best possible scenario. But that won't happen

I cant believe you people are talking about Childress playing time when its Shannon Brown who is the main problem on this team. The Suns need to find a way to get back Aaron Brooks and at least TRY to trade for Mayo.

But Chilldress's playing time would come at the expense of Brown, so wouldn't that cover your point? :o
