Disappointing about our team performances because the dude has been absolutely on fire even going back to last season.

Increasing his trade value.....

Why trade him? He is on a great contract, produces, takes a beating and keepson ticking, and can be a great piece to build with. It is clear that we are getting a good to great pick this year without trading him.

From all the chit this year, we are seeing that Morris is in our future, and Price is really making a case for the same.

Extend Nash for as cheap as possible (asking him to take less so we can go after FAs), get a great SF in the draft, get a starting SG through FA and we are in decent shape. Save some room or cap space to get a steal from a team trying to make room for a guy and have space for FA the next year when amnestying Chilldress makes sense.

Side thought, anyway we could trade Chilldress for Blatche straight up?

Extra side note, Salma Hayek has some of the best boobs in Hollywood. :o

I AGREE! But not-so much with the idea of Extending Nash. He's walking to NY next year, and everyone knows it.

Man, Price had seven assists in 13 minutes. Gentry should have played him with Nash to close the game instead of Brown or Redd. Wait, what am I saying? Gentry is trying to tank, so never mind I understand why he only played 13 minutes.

From mammaries, I recall Nash said he can see himself playing for Dallas.

I don't mean to sound like a big expert on how Ronnie's done in Phoenix, because I haven't seen a ton of him since he left. But Ronnie is nothing more than a solid back-up that brings a lot of energy, hustle, and does bring good D, but he isn't a starter, simply put.

Who would want hustle, energy, and good defense? :D In his only start for us he went 7-11 got 18 points and had 8 dimes against DWill. And tonight he gave out seven dimes in 13 minutes, and totally changed the momentum of this game, until Gentry brought that to a halt. I don't think any of us thought he was a starting point, but he is proving to be more than we expected.

Yeah I can see Price really fitting in he as that elusive backup PG we've been lacking.

I'd love to see a bench of Price, Redd, Dudley, Frye and Lopez. Perfect mix of shooting, D and guy who could potentially be a go-to scorer against second units. But who would start?

Nash, ? , Hill, Morris, Gortat?

Just need a dynamic SG who can play some D and shooting the 3 and we'd be ok. Who can we get for Hak, Telfair, Childress, Brown?

He does make Brooks expendable too.. Unless he's replacing Nash next year.

I don't thin we can trade Telfair or Brown until March 1st. So we are stuck with them until then. If we don't play Chilldress, we won't get much for him. We'd be lucky to get a crappy expiring deal for him at this rate. Hak, might be able do get something, but today's stats didn't help that. His deal isn't too bad if used correctly. Moving him to a three was the best move so far. Watching him try and guard Blair was tough.

Just need fast-forward button to the 2012 draft so Suns can finally plan the future.

Pointless watching this team now. Nash will prob sign unrestricted with New York. Hill, who knows what he'll do, but doubt Suns sign him again next year.

-Tanking is indeed the best plan.
-Snag up a solid top-5 draft pick.
-Sign 1 or 2 mid-range stars (like Gallinari) cause no way you can sign the big names.
-Let Morris flourish as starter next year.
-Bring back Ronnie Price.
-Figure out a way to unload Frye-Lopez-Childress

Not a bad game - not very good, but not bad either. Thought we were headed for a blowout but we clawed back. We have no finishers though ...

I think we've seen enough so far to say that M-squared needs to start. Move Frye to the 5 on our second unit.
Duds had a nice game but he's just so much more of a spark for us off the bench. He can only be a starter if we have another monster player in the lineup; then his hustle and smarts really give us a nice look. But he can't give us enough as a starter given the current roster.

Nash/Redd???/Hak/Keef/The Gortat - if we could only get Hak to play some D and rebound. And if my aunt had balls ....

2nd unit: Price/Brown/Duds/Frye ... and who at the 4?

We have to find a way to use Chilly. We need to sit Grant more. Maybe Chilly at the 3 on our staring unit. At least we'd have defense and some boards from him.

Mr. Sunshine says: Aaaaah, we're pretty much screwed. Bright spots so far are Gortat, Price and Markieff. Telfair is as bad as we feared, Brown is a hopeless gunner, Lopez is a stiff and we need to accept that and just move his boney ass out for whatever we can get.

I see 5-11 on the horizon. Wonder when the FO freakout and the random twitching and night sweats will start. That's really terrifying - making fear-based moves.

I dont think Lon Babby really knows what he is doing. He doesnt understand that phx is all about team work but yet he signed aaron brooks last year and shannon brown this year. We are the new clippers. there is no way any elite player will ever want to play here as long as we have sarver. the players dont like him or trust him especially after the lockout. The suns are going to suck for a long time.

Sorry, as much as you can dislike the Dragic trade (I do not), I think Babby has done a decent job so far.

I agree with GrantHill. He (Babby) has laid out a clear plan along with the other FO members and they have been well on their way to try and see it through. Sure, a signing like Telfair is questionable when we went out and acquired Price, who is a much better backup. But he's not hurting our team basketball wise. A guy like Shannon Brown also filled a need, because we desperately needed more athleticism, having lost that in the JRich trade.

and I dont know if this was babby or blanks but the FO was smart enough to draft Keef this year so theres that too. I dont think he has been given a fair chance he has to deal with Sarver and had to clean up the mess after Amare bounced, and they made the stupid signings of Warrick and Childress.

It is a bit too early to gauge this FO. I liked the Gortat trade but strongly disagree with the Brooks trade, and the Brown, Telfair, and Redd signing. I like the Price signing, but feel that if we are truly rebuilding, signing old washed up guys and a chucker isn't the route I think we should be hedging. Trading away a first rounder, while not even getting a future pick was lame, and not getting a chance to bring Brooks in doesn't improve that trade.

Then Sarver saying moronic things during negotiations with the players seems to negate the current FO's plan of 2012.

Since our owner continually hinders any GM we have, it makes it tough to rate them. Off what they have done so far, I would give them a C. I still would have liked Lighty or Hopson brought in, and a gamble on SWilliams. Now if they could have pulled off that Pietrus for a second rounder, they would have bumped up to a B+.

Damage control has never been one of the strong suits from the Sarver Administration.

I have to think they have circled the return of the Chinaboys on the calendar, but I will continue this offshooting in its proper thread so not to agitate our jrMOD's here.
