You watch Mike D go for Nash, Barbosa and Diaw next year.. If he is still there..

Nash, Schumpert
Fields, Barbosa
Anthony
Diaw, ?
Chandler

His 8 man rotation. Pretty good team too.

I frickin' love this: The Knicks are 16.26 points per 100 possessions worse with Amare on the court this year. The dude has a current RAPM score of -1.7, a little behind studs like Brian Scalabrine, Kwame Brown, and...Robin Lopez

Wow it sucks to be the Knicks. They have 50 million tied up for the next 4 years in three players who don't remotely fit together, two of which are #1 and #2 on the All-NBA Overrated List.

I have a huge soft spot for the knicks going back to my childhood and I was choked that they made that trade - nice idea, hire Walsh to be your guru and they don't listen to him. They gave away far too much, and they'll be giving for the next three years.

i went to the game last night and do i love the sound of silence once the crowd is cheering and someone makes a shot/steal. i was afraid i was going to get beat up in my section. luckily i had one other suns fan behind me (ronnie price's wife's sister (((lol)))).

i honestly hope that nash gets to go to a contender and we get a solid center/decent pg to build around. i personally don't think you can win a title with just 1 all star in his prime (IE lbj and the cavs). it was awesome to hear how many boos and no's i heard when melo/amare had the ball. maybe nash will go to ny (I CAN DREAM) to reunite the pick n roll team and maybe (probably not) get a ring.

it's too bad i'm not energized rooting for the knicks (and the nets will probably be terrible next season) because i miss seeing a team that i love in person.

Amare has either regressed or just isn't bein used. They were nice last season before the Melo trade.

They need a play maker that's for one.

It's also spacing. Amare was getting a ton of his best offensive minutes at the 5 with a stretch-4 last year. Bad for defense...great for spacing. Mix in Chandler: the defense is better but the spacing is gone. Plus Melo is a poor floor spacer. It's really a terribly constructed team for a D'Antoni offense, the only situation in which Amare has thrived.

D'Antoni is gonna get fired, but Amare and his ridiculous contract are stuck.
