I think the point you missed was it takes a bit of luck, just not good to great players. Plus Stern isn't going to let us win a chip, so until he is dead, we might as well wait things out and build a better team.

And those of you who are mad we are winning a few games, we haven't even hit the hard part of our schedule. We have 23 back to backs this year, and two back to back to backs. Plus the teams that have worst records will be tough to catch, because they really suck.

it wasnt luck tho. sarver is the one that destroyed this team. dynasty was in his hands and he destroyed it for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. i swear we need to protest sarver. find out where he lives and picket in front of his house until he sells the team lol

HOLD UP. you just said it was luck by saying JJ broke his eye bone (not nose) otherwise we woulda won! thats luck man thats the game. Also JJ left because he wanted to be "the man" on another team, if i remember correctly it was a matter of maybe 1-2 million between us and ATL, thats on JJ not Sarver. Trust me Sarver is an @$$ but your argument doesn't make sense. Also the deal we made to Amare was fair the only thing we didn't do is insure it which only a team with buttloads of money (aka the Knicks) would do, and how are they doing right now?

We have had a bunch of bad luck that has kept us going to the finals. With a healthy KT and Bell, we get a chip in 2006 without Amare. Well if Stern wasn't the commish.

Solid game. We won the last two games on the road with only Nash and Gortat on their normal offensive stage. I like it.

Childress, Redd, Warrick with DNP. Wonder who will sit out when we just can suit up 12 players again.

Amare is uninsurable, which was the sticking point in PHX. Essentially he wanted the team to gamble he was gong to be able to play, the team wanted him to assume some of the risk, too. So NY rolled the dice. If he goes out, they're screwed.

That's my recollection of it - anyone know otherwise?

Yep. We offered him 5 year max, with years 4 and 5 partially guaranteed. They became fully guaranteed if he played more than like 50 games in each of those seasons or something.

Knicks went all in and guaranteed every year

Homework well done by training staff. Starting 5 established, go-to-guys in NAsh&Gortat fixed, Hill back in D-beast mode, 2nd unit geling & waiting for Redd. Well, we'll see. Let's move on this way.

Ah, and vote for the Suns in All Star ballot!
Offense wins games, Defense wins championships...

I wonder what he would do if he actually had a picket rally of people demanding him to sell the team. Funny ****
