Some truly lousy officiating but - we just can't shoot the damn ball. Duds is doing all the little things we love him for, but he cant' hit the floor. Grant's come back but he's about the only one -
Nash, Gortat and Hill are the only ones who ever take the ball inside.

Funny moment - Telfair passes the ball to Brown and comes back around, saying "give it to me, I'm the point guard". Brown just looks at him and launches one from 26 feet.

Gentry could have certainly doen a lot more to helpt he cause - like calling timeouts when the other team gets a run going - but really, you could have Adoph Rupp, John Wooden, Dean Hill, Reds Auerbach and Holzman and your pick of the major deities sitting on the bench drawing up plays, and it still wouldn't' change the fact that we are just not very good.

Ehhh - whatareyougonnado?

M. Gortat 17 boards 19 points 3 blocks 0 turnovers. And he got his 19 points in a way that i didnt notice him getting those really. A sign of a great player.

Starting to play all-star level ball already...

All-Star level is when your play translates into team success. Gortat doesn't. Marc Gasol for instance does and is the best player on his team, without anyone as good as Nash.

There are a bunch of guys playing great for Memphis. Gay is having a killer year, and can always be a go to scorer. Conley is averaging 2.5 steals a game, and a few of the other guys are similarly strong defensively.

Grant almost had a triple double? Two more rebounds and two more turnovers and he would have had one.

Man, tough loss. Doesnt help when you have refs like this and shoot this badly. Check out some of Markieff's Tweets after the game. Gotta love the kid.

To many jump shots not getting fouled enough playing soft gotta turn it up starting tomorrow.... #teamfoe we back.....

Mirror check for myself tonight who I have been is not what I can be gotta get back to my old ways grimy hard nose Philly kid... Real rap

These posts by Markeiff are great! I get highly irritated when I see Keiff always just hanging out on the 3 point line wating to get the ball kicked out to him. This is not his doing...this is Gentry telling him to spread the floor so Nash and Gortat can PnR all night long. I have been wanting to see Morris put it on the floor and take it to the basket. Hope he does it..

Morris is right that he is not getting any fouls. As a team the Suns are 29th in the league in free throw attempts!!! Thats a major points category to be nearly dead last in. Noboy except Shannon and Gortat are really taking it to the rim. Dudley is not athletic enough, Frye is too soft and doesn't have a low post game.

Nash gets fouled on almost every drive he does, yet gets the call very rarely. We don't get the calls, because we never get the calls. If you notice, we get called for fouls when the other guy is shooting, but most of the ones called for us, are not shooting fouls. That way in the box score it looks like the refs called the same amount of fouls, but when you look at the free throws taken, the other team takes about twice as many or just under that.

For example, Dudley was fouled like six times under the basket the other night, and after the sixth one, they finally called the foul. We don't get the calls, because we aren't respected by the refs.

I am waiting for Stern to die to see if that changes. :D

LOL, you're trying to talk some sense into a guy who's trading Gortat on literally EVERY post on ASFN. Meanwhile, Griffin and Love are scratching their heads reading about "team success" being a requirement.

We started out playing Hill on Odom and Markieff on Shawn.. which I thought was a bit stupid. Sure if Dirk was playing you might want Hill on him but no need to have him D up on Odom. Seems like the coaches failed to adjust to Dirk being out.

Another step closes to a good draft pick. Come on, boys, we need to go down a little bit more.
Of course, this is not against our players (or against most of them).

The reality is our rivals let their stars rest against us and still get the wins.
The reality is that we do not play two straight games with the same level of consistency.
The reality is that some line up decisions are difficult to understand.
The reality is that López's agent (what a lucky guy ;-) ) will not reach an agreement with the franchise due to the low play level of his representee.

In Orlando it has been said that the Magic want to convince Howard to stay with the arrival of Nash. I do not know if this is for this year or for the next one. But Orlando has nothing that could interest us, or any other team for that matter. They do not have a finishing contract even...
