Shades of Cool Hand Luke.... gone bad.

Didnt watch the game... but that damn Frye is maddening. The results are so much better when he is dropping his bombs.

With the stinkers taking up the bottom 5, its just not likely we can do that w/o significant injury(s).
We've seen this team's best, and know their worst. I am figuring a 7-8-9 slot. The teams we are really competing with are Detroit, Milw, Cleve, Utah, GS, Sac, and may be Tor. Better to cheer for them than against us. Our inept bench will take care of you tankers.

We really are screwed - there's enough talent on the roster to overachieve and make the playoffs, then a quick 4-zip or 4-1 exit and our usual 15th pick. I could never wish injury on a player *cough cough*some exceptions, no need to get into that***cough

but damn - this is all so ........ pointless

The one time I am not on the board, there was full frontal nudity? :(

I guessing that many were exceeding their bandwidth.

well if frye hits his treys we are awesome as a unit(spacing and ball movement)
but the thing is frye hits his treys like what?
once every 6-7games?
The games he doesn't hit treys he actually has negative value
Doesn't play smart D, can't provide reliable post offense, basically useless both sides of the court

We need to keep starting him until he has somewhat good value and then trade his ass
We got Frye2.0 in Morris anyway and he plays with passion

Frye is a backup at best.
By next season Morris should be ready to take that starting position... he can hit as much 3s a game as Frye does, but he's more talented and aggressive.

I really like Morris but wonder why he shoots so many 3's a game? Can't he be a Amare type player taking mid range jumpers and scoring inside the paint as well? Or genty just wants him to be next Frye type player and shoot 3's?

He has a better percentage from three than he does two. It isn't much of a difference, but still better from three. A bunch of our guys shoot about half of their shots from three, and Morris shoots about a third of his from there. It is our system. Frye shoots half of his shots from three.

Frye is a bad influence. Be like Dirk, he's a much better shooter than all of them because he makes the defender honest and drives to the hoop if they commit too much to the shot.

He's not trying to be like Frye. Morris has a decent mid range game, but I would like to see him have an even better close game. But it is tough to expect a bunch from him, when he gets a bulk of his minutes with Telfail. And his seven seconds left offense. :(
