I was pretty shocked when Nash went to Frye on the block down the stretch. Yes, Frye had a guard on him. No, Frye can't post anybody up. In terms of size it is considered a mismatch, but when Frye has his back to the basket it only spells trouble for Phoenix.

If I were to say that the summer of 2010 was the worst summer for the Phoenix Suns in franchise history, would any of you argue that?

-Lose our best player (Amare)
-Trade for Hedo
-Give Frye a big contract despite him showing that he's super inconsistent
-Sign Childress to a big contract despite him being out of the league for quite some time and being an undersized Sf who cant shoot at all
-Sign Warrick to a relatively big contract in a knee jerk reaction to replace Amare. Only one problem; half the SFs in the league are bigger than the PF Warrick.

Just a horrible summer anyway you look at it.

What do you expect 88'... This FO is clueless, it starts at the top. This coming summer could be even worse.

Yea man Sarver taking over ownership of the Suns just doomed this franchise. He's lucky he INHERITED a franchise that already had Nash (Colangelo was already talking with Steve and Sarer basically just completed the deal), Amare, Marion, JJ, etc on it so he could enjoy them playing basketball. But what has he done since he took over the franchise?

Pretty soon, not a single player from that "elite" Suns era 04-05 to 07-08 will be left on the franchise. Nash is the only remaining one.

Sell the damn team Sarver!!!

I wanna see a trade for Bass/Millsap or we can just draft a PF. And if not Batum, I wouldn't mind getting your boy Terrence Williams either but he recently said he wants to stay with the Kings so that's doubtful.

TWiLL said that because he was scared he was about to be out of the league.

Dragic/Gordon/TWiLL/Milsap/Gortat

"I'm just trying to do my part," Williams said. "I'm a free agent July 1. I'll take any calls from Sacramento. Hopefully we'll get something to work out. I love it here and I love playing here and I think I fit in well. So hopefully we can a long-term four-deal or a one year."

Haha can you imagine Millsap and Landry on the same team? The two most underrated hustling, defense and rebounding guys in the league right there!

I don't see this Landry underrated defense/rebounding...Millsap, sure...But Landry's never been a good rebounder or shotblocker, ever...

In saying that, he'd basically be a better, more physical version of Warrick and would have some upside with Nash spoon feeding him

Yup, sounds like every other FA, and even more so, one that was cut from his last team. Im sure if Larry Hughes was picked up by the Bobcats on a 10 day contract at the end of the season he would say the same thing. Do you really think that if TWiLL had a choice between the Kings, who it looks like might not stay in Sac-town much longer (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/basketball/nba/story/2012-04-04/Is-Sacramento-again-in-danger-of-losing-the-Kings/53996288/1) or any other team, he would stay with the Kings? Doubt it. If the Suns make him an offer and Kings say they would match it, TWiLL would be in a Phoenix jersey.

Yeah, i think SF88 is confusing Landry with Chuck Hayes.

Its funny, even Gentry is starting to wish he had Faried instead of Morris...

If there has been one criticism of Markieff Morris' fine rookie year, it has been the ease in which he plays can appear like cruise control. Suns coach Alvin Gentry said he told Morris he needed to model his motor after Denver power forward Kenneth Faried, who leads all rookies in rebounds (7.1 per game) and shooting (59 percent).

"He just has to raise the intensity level a little bit," Gentry said of Morris. "He wants to. He's still in the learning process. A good example is to take a look at Faried. He plays so hard that he gets things done just from an effort standpoint.

"He plays almost every play like the last play in the game."

Hard to deny that Farried will be something special - late round pick diamond in the rough for sure.
Everybody dies but not everybody truly lives.
