He has been really passive of late. I dont know if its been since he jacked up his thumb, or just from being on the happy-go-lucky-we-are-friends-with-everybody Suns? Doesnt take it strong to the hoop, settling on little baby hooks and lay-ups. Doesnt look aggressive on defense and rebounding as well. Too much smiling and laughing and not enough mean mugs.

Yep. It's very frustrating but this is happening.

We lack a killer instinct. In the past we have sought out some tough guys to help the team... Truck Robinson, Mo Lucas....heck we even got strongman Shaq...

who was the last tough guy here ? Raja with his clothesline ? I think we really need to get a badmofo to plant the seed. Morris is about the only dude I have seen get in a face this yr... and he picked the craziest of all to chin up.

Don't worry. Next season:

Doesnt help that he isn't ready for passes from Nash, (too passive), and like Kerrsed said, isnt taking it strong enough.

Bench him for one game by starting Lopez, and maybe it'll wake him up. :nonono:

It wasn't a huge risk few years ago when Lopez dominated the NBA.

This is what I hate. People overrated Lopez's sophomore season sooo much. The guy was never that good! He was decent but not once did we ever "dominate" the league in a season.

The only good game of his that I actually remember is against the Clippers when he got 30 pts and 10 rebounds but even that was because Kaman had gotten fouled out or ejected or something.

Gortat kept us in the game in the first quarter, did you all forget that?

Frye is the one who needs to go. I'm tired of seeing him play a good game then suck the next 3.

Frye, Warick, Telfair need to go in the offseason.

Frye has to be traded before he declines so bad that he gets dropped to D-League.
To a fast pace team or Heat who can use him.... get 1st rounders even if late.

Gortat is available for a top 10 lottery pick IMO.... I believe we have seen his best and thats a 15/10 type center which is excellent, but his value is currently at its peak and can only decline.... of course Suns should keep him all other scenarios because he is that darn solid.
Of course only do this if the Suns have another big man who can at least rebound to replace him.
Gortat's main contribution to the Suns IMO is his rebounding and ability to get 10+ points.... the rebounding is 1st priority of course.

Pretty sure Orlando fans told us this when the trade went down.
