Why do a lot of people project Brown as the starter? Why would we possibly give him the starting role over Dudley? I know he started some last year, but that was a result of the Hill injury, and Dudley just moved to 3. Dudley may not be the ideal sg, but he deserves hit a heck of a lot more than Brown does.

I like a starting lineup with Dudley, Scola and Gortat as vets, with Dragic and Beasley as kind of the younger guys. Beasley and Brown starting together on the wing sounds like it could be a disaster.

I think Beasley could have a better chance of thriving, though, if he was surrounded by more veteran type players (smarter players.)

It's not that bad. You guys already forgot that 20 point quarter vs Lakers? He had some amazing peformances after the All-Star break. Most of his bad performances were in the first part before developing chemistry with the team. I'll be optimistic and say, if he starts, he'll average 15ppg with a fairly solid FG%.

brown is incredibly athletic and pretty talented but hes just an idiot. he wants to be kobe so badly. he would never shoot in the rhythm of the offense, always chuck up bad shots, and for some **** reason he would stay away from the rim. i just hate the guy, he puts up the most contested jumpshots and he does make a surprising amount of them for how terrible of shots they are....**** this piece of ****

Why don't bring in some guys with potential on a clear one year deal and maybe even a team option. Brown won't help us next season and in the future. Take a chance at some unproven guys.

Yes and yes.

Seems for me, the theme for this offseason is, "could be worse." :-?

The barfing was for the "report" that we were giving Shannon a 4 year guaranteed contract, with an option for a 5th year.......

“I would like to (start),” Brown said. “I think I have that ability to go out there and start the game off the right way. Like I said, with minutes or continuity … you can go back and look, every game I’ve started … my production is up.”
