Sacramento Suns has nice alliteration like Seattle, and seems to make a bit more sense.
Come on now..... the training camp has already been moved, so if the Suns went anywhere, we would end up as the San Diego Suns.
As a native to Phoenix who recently moved to San Diego I can confirm 100% that there is zero possibility of this happening. They can't even support the teams they have here. Nobody goes to the Padres games and the Chargers are likely to bolt for LA in the next few years unless another team beats them to it. Also, most locals are Lakers "fans". (Yes, it's gonna suck to watch a game at a bar next season and see them cheering on Nash. Torture.)
I would be pissed if the Suns moved here (or anywhere), Phoenix is a great market. The Arena was renovated a few years back and San Diego has nothing to offer that Phoenix cannot. It's a great place to live but SD is not a great sports town. With Sarver's San Diego ties, I really doubt they would move here if he sold, more likely if he stayed the owner, but like I said, I doubt it.
I am looking forward to training camp if it's here again though.

Would make sense if our roster was full of thugs.

Sydney Suns then?
We'd win every home game.

No way Phoenix will be teamless, we have an awesome fanbase and we are a very large city that draws in fans.

Re: Sarver selling?
This is one of the stupidest threads on this boards. Some twit named Edgar tweets that he hopes Jason Rawley's promotion to a position that he should have had a year go is a sign that Sarver will sell the team and everybody gets their shorts in a knot.
I met Jason a couple of years ago at a Suns event for the legal community and we had the opportunity to talk about the law and his role in Sarver's acquisition of the Suns. He was actually the junior partner of the lead attorney, but he put in the sweat during the process and he earned Sarver's respect. After the deal was complete Sarver invited him to come in house. A great move. His promotion has nothing to do with selling the team.
