Yeah, I doubt Harden wants to really play in Phoenix. Like Lilfishi said, he probably was being interviewed and when asked what he thought about playing for Phx he gave a positive answer.

Yeah... forget being the star of a team in a city that loves you all while being paid MAX $. I think he'll take a pay cut and pass so that he can continue to come off the bench and be the 3rd option in a small market. /green

Harden will get paid no matter where he'll be. And I don't think he has an issue being a 3rd option on a championship contending team at this point in his career.

Just gonna put this out there: Harden is overrated. Love the guy. Sun Devil for life. But he is not the answer and will be exposed if he is the #1 option.

Anyone on our team right now will be exposed as a #1 option so that doesn't mean anything.

Nba's site in greece has posted an article about the top-10 shooting guards.

Considering his level of influence to his team, his career, his level of play the year that passed and the role he is going to have next year in his team the list goes like this:

Name Career Averages Last Season Averages
1) Kobe Bryant 25.4ppg 5.3rpg 4.7apg 45.3%fg 33.7%3fg
27.9ppg 5.4rpg 4.6apg 46%fg 30.3%3fg

2) Dwyane Wade 25.2ppg 5.1rpg 6.2apg 48.6%fg 29.1%3fg
22.1ppg 4.8rpg 4.6apg 49.7%fg 26.8%3fg

3)James Harden 12.7ppg 3.4rpg 2.5apg 44.4%fg 37%3fg
16.5ppg 4.1rpg 3.7apg 49.1%fg 39%3fg

4)Manu Ginobili
5)Joe Johnson
6)Eric Gorgon
7)Monta Ellis
8)Ray Allen
9)Arron Afflalo
10)Tyreke Evans
11-15) OJ Mayo, Jason Terry, Courtney Lee, Tony Allen, Avery Bradley

What's your take on that list, especially considering Harden? I think I'd put him in the 3-5 range. Kobe and D-Wade are obviously better, Manu and him are very similar in both stats and role on the team but I put James ahead because of youth and potential, and Joe Johnson talentwise is better than both but there are nights where he just doesn't deliver. And from 6 to bottom, I believe he is better than everyone in that range. (Gordon and Evans could possibly surpass him)
