As far as JO is concerned he is just a placeholder like Scola and Brown. None of these have anything to do with our longterm plans. That being said if he can stay reasonably healthy this season hes probably going to match Lopez's production with a bit more scoring. Either way for 1.35m this is about the best we could do; our training/medical staffs rockstar reputation is what lured him here without a doubt.

They already had a great reputation for working with Amare and Steve for many years but what they did for Hill and Redd will made us an injuried veteran mecca.

JO with RegenoKine... If only they'd been able to acquire a player like him (semi-healthy) while Nash was here, and retain him. The last time they did that, Kurt Thomas was a huge part of them competing strongly at the end of the WC playoffs.

Ah well. New season, new era, fresh start. Won't be tons of wins, but I'll be hoping to see lots of development in the youngsters and I'd love to see JO have a little renaissance season.
