Yep because Amare was the main reason we attracted FAs before he left. I mean player after player said that Amare was the reason they wanted to play in PHX.

How do you know that? We never had any cap space for any major free agents.

Amare wasn't the main attraction, the Amare/Nash duo was.

Yep because we had the cap space to get another superstar FA  I mean we didn't have any players like Marion, Shaq, Thomas, scrub PG (forgot his name) taking up our cap space

Yep, because NY has drawn "superstar" FAs because of Amare. If we had kept Amare, we wouldn't have money to draw "superstar" FAs, so I cut that part out, seeing as it was a pointless part of the comment. :D

Ok....you think 'Melo would have went to NY without A'mare? You think Tyson Chandler would have went to NY if it wasn't for 'Melo and A'mare?

And I have no idea what you said in the 2nd sentence. I read it at least 3 times and it still makes no sense.

How does it not make sense? If we kept Amare at a max contract, we wouldn't have money to attract "Superstar" (your word, I chose to ignore because it seemed pointless to add that seeing that we wouldn't have the money to attract them in the first place) FAs. So I stuck with the FA part, because that is who we could get. And from the FAs that were attracted to the Suns, none of them said Amare was the reason.

If it is still unclear, I could maybe add some pictures, but I don't think you'll like them. :D

Melo wasn't a FA, he was a cancer to his team, and it cost the Knicks half of their team. And more likely their season. Chandler is not a "superstar". We could have had him for Ben Wallace.

Amare out 2-3 weeks with a cyst in knee.

Honestly, Melo wanted to go to NY, Amare or no Amare. Guy from Syracuse has been linked to NY forever and it was only a matter of time. I even think Melo would prefer Amare not to be there, so he can be the main cancer there all by himself.

His knees are the reason why we didn't sign him to a max deal and now look at what happens.

If Amare ever makes the all star team again, I'd be surprised.

As much as I hated us letting him go, it was the right move...players who get injured early in careers tend to get injured regularly over their career...this has been the case with Amare....so the cyst really does represent Amare's overall proneness to injury and this will increase as he gets older (he's hitting 30 this year)....some commentator actually made the same comment recently.....the Suns dodged a bullet with Eric Gordon...he will be on the disabled list regularly...
Pazienza....pazienza...pazienza....and before you know it, we're celebrating in "Suns City" baby....

After lettin him go we really should have auctioned off the remaining pieces of that WCF team to the highest bidders. These past two years have been dumb.
