Great win but why is Beasley so selfish? I hate selfish players and we already have one selfish player (Brown).

Beasley is not selfish, he is a volume shooter who the Suns hope will take 20 shots per game. Now the big question is how efficiently will he score on those 20 attempts per game. In the first 2 games he hasn't looked that good.

Alvin Gentry wants Beasley to be aggressive, but he wants to pass more.

I agree with you and DRK. It seems to be the deal, to push the guy to the baseline, in hopes for a weak side guy to be there. The only problem is too many times, no one shows up for the help. I don't understand it at all. :o

Doesnt really work either when our team doesnt even have a good weak-side shot blocker. :nonono:

We have had a large amount of blocks already. However, I think the amount of uncontested shots close to the basket is larger than the amount of blocks. So, the concept isn't working.

It seems more logical to push the guy to the center to clog the lane and push the guy towards other defenders.

I think he could do both. He can get to the basket fairly well, and he saw some openings but his passes were a little off. I think he'll be doing really well by the end of the season.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Already sending Beasley mixed messages first they tell him to be more of a passer, so he plays unselfish in the preseason, but gets criticized for being a "pleaser". Then he gets told to shoot more, but now hes being "selfish" for taking the shots they want him to take and attacking the basket. Its about finding a good balance but let him play through his mistakes in these first couple games. His defense was also pretty good in the second half. The worst play I saw in the game was down the stretch where Scola, Dragic, and Brown wasted the shot clock not taking open jumpers and passing it to Beasley for a turnover. If I were a suns fans I would be more concerned with the starting shooting guard and the bench. I think Hill would have really good influence on this young squad, but they have talent and just need more time to get it together.

Y'all save your pzzin-an-moanin till game 20....

there are too many new faces to expect a smooth flowing offense and defense, starters and bench.

Pick out some good and hold down the parade raining out the gate.
