What is amazing to me is how he looks SO different than he did in the preseason, especially that last game. I know it's just the preseason, and I usually don't put much stock in it, but how could he play THAT much better? It's not like he was in the D League or Summer League...he was playing against quality nba players.

Is it nerves? Pressure? Why on earth would a player play better team ball and seemingly put so much more effort into his game in the preseason?

Was Beastley being guarded by LeBron??

Was he?

And if so... I wouldn't be surprised with the numbers he put up...
LeBron is ultimate shutdown defender for Beastley type.

The level of defensive intensity in preseason is about a notch above what you see in a pregame shoot around. No one cares about shutting down the opposition, guys are just trying to get a feel for eachother and thats about it. The only dudes going all out are the bench warmers who are trying desperately to make a roster.

The Beasley we are seeing is the same guy who has been in the league for 4 years, and its a pretty bad NBA player. He is sucks the life out of his own team on offense with his inefficient ball hogging and on defense he is nonexistent.
