I think we all need to realize that we can't really change what's going on with the team and we'll have to see this through for now.

Off topic, but did you change your username or become a Suns fan because we signed Beasley? Or are you a longtime Suns who was excited about the Beasley signing and just so happened to join realgm in August?

I think we all need to realize that Michael Beasley sucks and doesn't deserve a minute more of playing time this year.

For some reason, Beasley is just...not hitting those shots.

Because he sucks balls. I literally hate this guy because he's a wasted talent and everyone here clamored to sign him as "omg, DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!"

**** him.

And you say this after 20 games of him in a Suns uniform..... Give it time.

This "high horse" mentality aint going to get you much respect on the internet either.

I've been a lurker here for a while and decided to sign up. My name is kind of a joke because people usually refer to weed as "the bees knees" and Beasley had (or still has) a problem with weed. So I just mixed Beasley's name with the bees knees. I'm probably going to change my name when I can though.

Normally I'd agree with you, but it's not 20 games...it's his 4th year. He's played over 8000 NBA minutes. He's not some rookie or some prospect.

We know what Beasley is.

Wolves fan here in peace. Sadly I think all of the Suns fans are feeling what Wolves fans have felt for the past two years - a guy with crazy talent who can't play basketball.

I so badly wanted him to succeed here (MN), but the guy is a ball-stopping floater who doesn't really care if his team wins or loses. If you guys watched any of the games we played against you last year, you could see that half of our roster was made up of those guys (including Wes Johnson).

I've always liked the Suns as a team and hope you guys do well (excludings games against the Wolves), but I have to admit that thinking that Beasley or Wes just needed a new environment or could be somehow turned into the player most thought he could be was a sign that homework was not done. I think most Wolves have been converted this year by watching guys like AK-47 and Cunningham give everything they have to win a game. Beasley just doesn't have that in him. Make him go away and you'll be better for it.

I think its safe to say he sucks balls after his 301 games as an NBA player. He has put forth a mountain of evidence that he is a horrible, absolutely horrible player. Not average, not below average, but awful. People cling to the 30 games he played in college as evidence that he is good but he has played 10 times as many games as a pro to solidify his status as a POS. There have been a TON of players who were good in college and their games didnt translate over to the NBA, throw Beasley on the pile. He sucks, he flat out sucks, he is the worst player on our team (and we have a bad team) and high in the running among the worst players in basketball this year.

I was never on the Beas wagon.

I've been wrong before but I don't think I've ever been as wrong as supporting the signing of Beasley :nonono: . My only excuse is that I was desperate for us to take a step in a direction, any direction. But I was also under the impression we would have had Beasley on the cheap....

Sarver has got to be pissed at Babby. First he convinces Sarver to sign Childress (and Warrick). Then he convinces Sarver to amnesty Childress to give us cap space (but of course Sarver still has to pay Childress). Then Babby convinces him to use similar cap space on Beasley.

He may as well flushed millions down the toilet. It may have been painful to do so, but at least our basketball team would be better.

It's crazy we outscore opponents and have a great D when Beasley sits. I can't for the life of me understand why he is even getting ANY minutes at this point.

Well, his contract isn't too bad. I'd say that it's actually okay given who we "thought" we were signing.

Still, nobody's going to want to trade for him.

We should all be thankful that contracts are no longer horrendously long. We're only on the hook for him for a couple years, third year is partially guaranteed right?

Yes it is. We shouldn't even trade him unless we gain positive value out of one. We should just make him "Hakim Warrick part deux" for the rest of this year and next year and then we'll buy him out.

Oh, so I'm on a high horse for saying Michael Beasley CLEARLY sucks? C'mon now. The guy is what he is.

Don't blame me for being a realist.

I just hope we don't have to give up a pick to trade him, which is the most likely scenario.

We all know Beasley sucks. I was talking about you talking to the other posters about being okay with the Suns sucking this year.

Oh. Well, okay. Stop me when I say something inaccurate.
