Minnesota may want a legit shooting guard, and they may want to sell on Derrick Williams at some point, so we could try to see if a three way trade would work where we get Williams, Boston gets Gortat, and the TWolves get someone like Avery Bradley (doubt Courtney Lee would be enough).

I'm not totally sure how high we would be on Derrick Williams (he hasn't been very good yet) but he is a young potential talent. We would have to concede we were giving up on Beasley though, which would be pretty early.

I saw one writer about a week ago (on espn insider I think) talking about potential trades for Derrick Williams mention a straight up swap for Shannon Brown, which I thought was a bit odd, but if they really want that shooting guard since Roy isn't really panning out and they are relying heavily on a rookie right now (Shved), they may think about it.

I think they also view Barea/Ridnour more of 2nd unit guys.

Brown for Williams? Sign me up, and I'm no Derrick Williams fan. At least we won't have to watch Brown's chucking. It's really bad. I remember Williams as someone we thought of acquiring (the number 2 pick) for Gortat. Thankfully that didn't happen though.
