No.They don't retire numbers anymore.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

He will be in the ring of honor, which is basically the same thing.
Players will probably be discouraged from wearing #13 for awhile too.

I would not retire any jersey from now on if not for a player who had finally given us a ring.

Is this a joke? He will go in the ring, absolutely. Unless he goes out and murders someone or something he will go down as the most honored Sun of all-time.

? Anyone that is in the ROH has essentially had their number retired. The only reason Grant Hill used 33 was because AA came to him and wanted him to wear it IIRC. He was prepared to wear a different number.

Props to Kerrsed for the sig

Yeah they retired numbers a few years ago but as far as I remember, Coro mentioned that they now simply introduce them into the ROH. The discussion came up after Telfair got Marions' 31.

Still trying to figure out if this is a serious question.

Maybe he can bring his kids to the ceremony, or is the distance from Los Angeles to Phoenix simply too much to overcome?

This is one of the classier franchises in the league. Of course, they'll honor Nash.

of course his jersey should be retired. it shouldn't even be a question. he'd probably have a ring if it wasn't for horry.
