An assist only works if the guy receiving the pass actually makes the shot. I saw Dragic set some guys up very nicely last night, but they missed extremely easy shots. Hard to fault a guy for someone else's mistake.

Yet somehow the same players have no problems with finishing Scola's, Dudley's or Telfair's passes. Interesting. This season Scola, Gortat, Dudley and Tucker all have a higher FG% with Dragic on the bench. Maybe it's Goran's fault, not everyone else's.

Or, you know... when Dragic is on the bench and they aren't, they're playing against the other teams bench most of the time. Benches are generally less talented than starters, and that usually includes defensively...

It seems that maybe dragic along with most of the rest of hte team has basically cashed it in now! :-?

It really must be hard for our guys though, Being so accustomed to at least being competitive and having a legitimate chance at the playoffs. Now only to already know this season is in the proverbialk wastebasket :( .

I know it sounds bad to say this, But I really miss the days when a big man on a team would really let the player on the other team have if he took it to the rim!Now I'm not saying play dirty! However, you can't just take that kind of thing if you're a 7 fter. If he's going to challenge you and you don't have the superior athleticism to challenge his dunk, them you foul him hard! Send him to the floor. At least make him think twice about bringing it in there like that!

With that being said, I sure wouldn't mind somebody like bill laimbeer being endorsed as our next coach! I'm pretty sure that if he was our coach, there wouldn't be any players on our roster just moping around and half azzing it! Besides, We could use a little mean streak! A little bad boy swagger on this team.

I think I have been the only one bringing up Laimbeer as a head coach. Then my assistants would be Hornacek and either The Dream, or Kareem as our bigs coach. In a few years, I would love either Nash or Hill as part of our coaching staff.
