I'd say blow it up, but its already been blown.

Oh well, more lotto balls I guess. We'll get the #1 pick in a crap draft, yay,

Even though Shannon can be a horrible decision maker at times you cant blame this loss on him. His scoring probably kept us in the game to begin with.

Both the Lakers and the Suns lost tonight so it was a good day for our draft status as well.

LEBRON destroying the LAKERS!

So your one of the guy who dont dragic very much. I am dragic fan and always will be. He's no superstar. Hes a decent player who plays average. You can't except him to play solo type. He needs good players around him.
That is what is different from Houston.

Laugh all you want. I will defend. He didn't play bad. We lost yesterday becuz of Gortat yesterday. Don't even bother commenting if you didn't watch the game..
Gortat is too weak on contesting shot.

It's ok brother, every little bit helps. It will probably be like 2006 draft with no clear number one but a decent amount of good players.

Also, we'll get a other top pick in next year's strong draft.

Brown and Beasley are the tank masters. Awful shot selection, no defense from either one of them.

Honestly, Dragic is putting up the same numbers he did last year, per 36.

We're paying him 7.5 million a year. I think he's played like a 7.5 million dollar player. He'd look a hell of a lot better if he didn't have crap teammates surrounding him.

Anyways, it looks like the team is basically broken:

Beaten by yet another assistant coach. Let me guess, Brown and Beasley played in the same lineup? :banghead:

I only started following the Suns because of Dragic so I definitely wouldn't call myself a hater. However my love for him has declined all the way from day 1 because we haven't seen any trademark Dragic this year at all. Sure, you can blame it on teammates but partial responsibility must be placed on his terrible performances.

He has raw awesome talent and we haven't seen ANY of it at all. His stats decline hasn't been as concerning as the way he's been playing and running the offence.

I haven't ripped into Gogi all season because I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt but I think I've just about hit my limit of tolerance. I understand the FO's expectations of what Dragic could achieve on this team were vastly overestimated but I'm sure they didn't expect it to be this bad.

#1: He's a bottom 5 defender on the team (which is an impressive achievement on the Suns). He has a slow first step when covering the ball handler, can't navigate through screens and is often lit up from 3. His defensive rotations are terrible and he forgets to put his hands up on every second defensive possession.

#2: IMO this is the most critical difference between this year and last. He doesn't attack the guts of the defense. Every drive he makes ends up with him 10ft from the rim and passing out to a perimeter player. It's his go-to bail out move and it is awful because it relies on Scola, Dudley and Brown all to be on fire at all times. What I've been waiting to see from Goran that was vintage him last year was him penetrating the block and attacking the center, either getting a crafty layup or dishing it off to someone deep inside.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwvFrBUPudk
We've seen virtually none of ^this

#3 (a continuation of 2): He can't run a pick and roll. This all has to do with him not penetrating properly and not being a threat inside for defenses.

#4: He's mentally weak and fades out of a game after a good quarter. He'd easily be a 20/8 guy if he could stay in games.

#5: He's not Mr. Clutch like we though he was, and to be frank, looks completely lost. In Houston he shot 60% in clutch situations. This year it's 36%.

Blaming Goran's teammates for such poor assist numbers isn't really justifiable considering he's relying on jumpshots for assists. Even though he's posting similar per36 numbers he's playing a completely different game and I don't like it :(

I can't blame Goran for being bummed that he doesn't have a real coach like he did last year. :D That, and a real offense, with a bunch of movement, that fit him perfectly.

I sort of get the Dragic hate, Telfair is more assertive driving to the basket looking to score on layups but Dragic is very passive when it comes to attacking the paint so defenders know he is little threat to score inside.
I guess compounding the problem is Gortat being useless in the paint and not being able to finish strong without getting blocked or missing, if Gortat was a consistent threat to finish inside I think Dragic's game would improve as teams would focus more on blocking out Gortat.

lol considering how Dragic repeatedly cited Alvin as the leading factor in his return, I find this hilarious.

Oh well, you got your wish! Now let's see if Hunter can do any better.

What else was Goran supposed to say at his return? Because Dudley was here? Maybe Goran just didn't realize how crappy Gentry was at actual coaching.

As far as Hunter goes, what is the point now? If he does well, we screw our draft pick, and if he sucks, the team will just get further depressed. I knew it was going to happen. Sarver tries to make it seem like they want to win to placate the ticket holders, and Gentry is the easy target. If it wasn't for Nash and Hill, I think Gentry would have been fired last year.

My wish would have been Gentry being fired two years ago, or at the latest, the start of this season. It seems stupid now.

Maybe u don't realize that Goran is nothing more than an average starting PG at best.

Last year he did not play like an average starting point guard, so your opinion doesn't seem like you are truth telling. :D

He played better in a system where there was much more movement than ours. He probably should have stayed in Houston. :(

This organization is messed up.. Goran should have stayed in Houston. He's not the same I see in Houston.
Beasley signing was risky. Draft PG signing was a waste too. Why not sign other area. Lopez should have stayed in Phoenix.. Dragic and Lopez was a good combo. I have no idea where Suns team is going on. This team may be good in NBA2k but no in reality.. damn it suck feel :( all the time...
Gentry gone.. :o

Which draft has been good use for the suns last 3 years? I can only see Morris. But hes not consistent. This team is definitely not a place for rookies.. unless it is number 1 or 2 draft pick..

Return to Phoenix Suns
