Gortat took the game ball from the scorer's table to give to Hunter for his first #Suns win & told officials to fine him or send an invoice.

I don't think he disliked Gentry, he just expected more toughness from the coach like he had in Orlando. I think Gortat was also mad that guys on the team were not disciplined for their f'ups, and were allowed to chuck like mad, while he(being more disciplined in his mind), wasn't getting as many touches.

So the Suns won. Not exactly what I expected, but so be it. I just don't want them to make a late run to land the 13th pick again.

When he got here he was talking about how awesome Gentry was and how much SVG sucked.
Then when Al got fired, he was praising SVG.
Now Lindsey's in charge, so he's sucking up to him.

I guarantee that if he's still around to see Hunter's tenure go south, he'll throw Lindsey under the bus and make some comment about how he misses Alvin

"It's just a little bit frustrating when you come in the locker room and people are talking about the offense. That's not the way you're going to win NBA games. I don't know if it's just me, or maybe I'm just different, but I came from a team where everybody's competing and trying to do the stuff that coach is saying. We're just totally changing our rotations, changing our stuff that we set before the game. We're not playing hard enough and I've just got to tell you, there's a lot, a lot of work in front of us. The positive thing is? It can't be worse."

"I think we've just got to be more serious about everything that we do. We've got a lot of young guys on the team. A lot of potential, but a lot of young guys who don't know how it is to be on top and play at a high level. It's not only focus on the game, it's also focus on the practice. When you come through that door, that's the time to lock in and get ready for the game or practice. It can't happen where you're coming in and doing different things. We've got to read the scouting report, which guy likes to do what, and we've just got to learn it."

Wow man, I made a mistake. Sue me. The point is that his opinions on coaches tend to change.

But his stance on discipline hasn't changed. Maybe SVG changed a bit, and started to panic during games. It doesn't mean Gortat threw him under the bus, but instead pointing out things that were happening at the time.

But again, Gortatis right. The team needs discipline, and Gentry was not providing it.
