#Suns Sarver tells @BurnsAndGambo he has not lost confidence in either Lon Babby, Lance Blanks or basketball front office”

Wow.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

After listening to the interview live, I am so upset with Sarver and the direction of the Suns, I can not believe I am still interested in this franchise anymore. We need to get a way of telling Sarver that there are fans upset with the team.

The dude doesn't care. I read somewhere he only spends something like 10 percent of his time working with the organization. He admitted he doesn't get involved. Lets babby and blanks do everything.

A ticket buyback program. We get a fund together and offer to buy every fan's tickets to one game back for 120% of the cost. Then only we go in, and we yell anti-management chants the whole game :D

So we spend 2 yrs b!tching about his meddling.... and now about his 'hands off-iness'

The dude can't win.

Miks.... lets take it a step further and raise about 300 mill of fan money and just buy this franchise. I am sure we could get some investors for the rest. A secured interest bearing deposit of $500 from a scant 600,000 of us. We could be the Packers of the NBA.
What ? Me Worry ?

Does anyone else realize that the Sarver's investment group for the Suns is called "Suns Legacy Partners, LLC"? Some legacy Sarver is leaving this franchise in.

Phoenix ‏@Suns "People care about what we're doing & they love this team... We have an enormous burden (to our fans) to do what's right." - Babby

So why didn't you hire Majerle?

Phoenix @Suns "If you were sitting in the room with us, you would have made the same decision." - Babby on the choice of Hunter over other candidates

Why can't we have the insight? We are investors too.

Phoenix @Suns Want to share your thoughts on the direction of the team? E-mail us at fanfeedback@suns.com. All e-mails will be passed along to management.

Oh we will...

Thank u azwild. I went ahead and sent a nice letter.

Dear Mr. sarver,

The list of reasons for loosing this fan is long.  Most if not all reasons have come from the sarver era.  Two people I have little respect for and the reasons have really shined during the last 48 hours are lance blanks and Lindsey hunter.  The type of back dooring and total lack of values these men display are exactly opposite of what the suns and Jerry Colangelo were built upon.
I refuse to spend my hard earned money on a franchise that no longer displays loyalty, duty, respect, and honor.  All of these values were everything Jerry Colangelo built the suns upon.

Not only have you destroyed these ethics, you have chosen to rid yourself of purple or at least minimize it's value.  The colors of the suns were chosen because they represent the colors of an Arizona sunset.

Until this franchise displays better judgement on the hiring of it's leadership, I can no longer support the current people and product the suns employ.  Currently the leadership is displaying a toxic group of people who display no loyalty to people who helped build the suns rich history.  Lance Blanks and Lindsey Hunter must go due to these reasons alone.  Their lack of honor does not represent anything associated about a strong suns history of honor.

I will not get into the poor decisions the current leadership has made as I am sure you will receive more then your fair share of emails from very upset fans.  The poor decisions this franchise has made the last nine years can only be described astonishing bad.  But the last two years have absolutely been the worst by far.

Last but not least, Mr. Sarver, I want to inform you that you are completely out of touch with your fan base.  To disagree that the fans are not upset is disturbing.  Please take some time and read a common suns fan forum such as suns realgm.  That is where you will see the truth on how we as suns fans feel right now.

Thank you for your time,
Deuce

I love your letter Deuce. I think we should all send an email echoing our disappointments with the franchise.

Also anyone else realize that the Suns have really gone to the trash heap since Jerry was no longer a member of the franchise this summer.

I'm surprised no one is discussing what Craig Sager said about Elston Turner.

What did he say? Something we don't already know?

Well I hadn't heard it. During the game last night, Sager said he talked to Turner and Turner said he decided to come back and coach under Hunter. Sager paraphrased the conversation as:

Turner: I want to continue coaching here as an assistant.
Management: Why would you want to do that?
Turner: Because I like it here. I like the organization, players, fans, etc.
Management: Well we don't think that would work.

I'm not sure which, of the many threads on this topic, I should have added this, but I'll put it here:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2013/01/24/phoenix-suns-lindsey-hunter-los-angeles-lakers-dwight-howard-golden-state-warriors-nba-a-z/1863269/

Regardless of how you feel about the current situation, this is a good read.
