Predict the Suns final record

Post#1 » by JTrain » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:49 am

Gentry was let go at the exact halfway point of the season. Maybe the young Lindsey Hunter will spark some energy into this team, and maybe he'll find a better way to utilize this roster. Or maybe they're as bad as some think, and it will be the same or worse in the second half. I'll go slightly on the optimistic/pessimistic side and say 33-49. What do you predict?

I say somewhere around 22-60

Suns are 13-28 at exactly the half way mark, and if they go fully towards developing youth with Lindsy Hunter as the new interim coach, then I see us only winning 9-10 games on the back half of the season.

20-62, the development of players will hurt the Suns win total this season. The Suns will be better able to find the right players going forward.

Majority so far think they will go 8-33 or worse in the remaining games. Yikes. I don't see how that happens unless they really just play to develop players (semi-tank) or the players just totally check out. The Suns had more close losses than anyone in the first half.

Well... The Suns are 6-20 in their last 26 games. If they bring on the youth movement... it's not far off to think the Suns see 10 more wins tops this season.

32-33. Make a late meaningless push under an interm coach.

This looks more accurate now. After the win tomorrow we'll be 4-2 since the switch.

Look at the schedule. We are about to get destroyed. A ton of road games, almost entirely against playoff contenders.

We are about to drop 11 of 13.

The Suns are currently 16-31 with exactly 35 games remaining on their schedule. I see them finishing 9-26 which means 25-57 record.

I see them finishing around 24- 58 with maybe a few miracle wins thrown in there for good measure.(but hopefully not too many!)

Well they are 4-4 under Hunter so far. I could actually see them going close to .500 the rest of the way. So I'll predict a 15-18 finish and overall 32-50.
