Tyreke Evans?

With the apple of his eye most likely going to Orlando IF he is even traded, should Lance Blanks be looking at Evans?

The team is in desperate need of talent at every position, most notably the wings. Evans, just a few years removed from his dominant R.O.Y. season, can be the steal of this deadline.

His deficiencies are well publicized, most notably his shot, although he has improved it, evidenced with career highs from the field (48%) and from 3 (32%). Evans as the featured piece of the offence, can return to the career path he was on as a rookie.

Big, play-making perimeter players are a rarity, looking around the NBA, none is more intriguing a prospect than Evans, and none more attainable.

Evans is due a raise, but a 20-5-5 guy with a big ceiling is a better investment than a guy who will be on the the tail end of his prime when the Suns start competing again.

Evans, a ball hog who despite putting up stats has continually been a net negative for his team and brings chemistry concerns...

Sounds like he is right in Blanks wheel-house.

Maybe im biased since Tyreke's been my favorite player since he came into the league, can somebody give me anything other than an opinion as to why he wouldn't be a good move for Phx? We need talent where we can get it. And numbers never lie.

Unless Lamb is acquired, I'd take a shot with Evans.

I see Tyreke being in the same boat as Beasley. Both immensely talented, have put up numbers in the past, but also both arguably been a negative impact on the team. Highly talented, low IQ negative effect guys aren't that hard to find and easy to over pay for.

I think a Tyreke/Dragic backcourt would be phenomenal.
