Beasley Wins Prize

Post#1 » by MathiasPW » Thu Feb 28, 2013 9:43 pm

To all Beasley-haters, this should end all discussions on his talent and potential once and for all.

Just before the all-star break, he won the nation-wide vote for best Shaq-tin a Fool moment of the week.

He even beat the Shaq-tin a Fool MVP Javale McGee and Kobe Bryant. Yes, I said Kobe Bryant.

Beasley. Beat. Bryant.

He got 44.25% of the votes!

Eat that!

Oh Beasley.

But how did that win over Griffin's below the belt grab on Tyson? :o

Beasley seems like a nice kid - but god almighty does he look stupid! He just has be the most useless player in the league at this point. He is a human highlight reel, just like McGee :D

I would feel bad for him if he wasn't paid millions and millions :D

This play probably would have also won him the award:

Hunter said his comment last week that forward Michael Beasley doesn’t respond well to a coach yelling at him shouldn’t be misconstrued as a referendum on Beasley’s toughness.

“It’s just like raising kids,” Hunter said. “One kid you may be able to raise your voice with, the other kid if you raise your voice they break down and cry.”
But how does Beasley then handle things not going well on the floor?

“Nobody is yelling at him on the court,” Hunter said. “I know a lot of kids that thrive on the basketball court but can’t take a coach yelling at them. It’s just the way some personalities are. As a coach I have to recognize that and get the best out of the kid. I have to coach him in a way that he’s receptive to.”
