Re: Wes Johnson
Yeah I agree with Fo-Real, we should get these 'potentials' on the court. They way I see it, we have a bunch of unproven players and we might as well take more dices to gamble with next season. By the end of it, I'm sure we would at least be able to identify who's here to stay and who can hit the road. The only drawback to this is that, if they don't pan out we're stuck with them. So we must make the best educated guess on who to pick up and try to get them on a 2 year+1 team option contractso we don't get stuck with them if they dont pan out ( eg Beasley, Childress).

I liked him when I heard we might get him, he reminded me of Wes Person. He just makes me nervous when he puts the ball on the floor. It's good he is getting some minutes.
I would take him over Brown everyday and twice on Sunday, but that is not saying much.

I'm all for resigning Wes, but it has to be on the cheap. $2.5 million a year at the most. Then just eat Beasley's contract but sitting him out, and waive Brown.

Re: Wes Johnson
nice post Fo. Reasonable suggestions, realistic ability. Not really interested in Henderson, but Aminu and Hickson are welcome, even at the expense of Dud, theG, and/or Scola.
I can't see us keeping all three of those guys. Something has to give

Johnson could be a solid find going forward. If Wes finishes the season in his current fashion then I think we should move Scola for the best available package.

Re: Wes Johnson
I hope the Suns resign Wes but if there is a bidding war I would let him go. As good as his potential seems we dont need to take on an expensive gamble based on potential right after the Beas event. That being said if the price is right I think he has a much better chance of being a solid pro than Beas so we should keep him.
What do you guys think a fair price for Wes would be - im curious?

He's young, very athletic, plays defence and can shoot. I think his confidence issues has been the main area of weakness for him. Once he realises how good he is, and how good he can be, he can be a very solid starter in the league.
Apart from now, Wesley hasnt had the playing time to really prove his actual worth. My guess is we re-up him for one more at 4m, and if he plays well enough next season, then we offer him a long-term contract.
