Damn, now Hunter is calling out the young guys big time! Anyone listening to his interview right now?? :o

How about you become a coach and accept some responsibility for your ineptitude. Screaming at your team doesn't do much except get players upset, and now call them out on tv?? Damn. Shameful

Why would he be upset with the teams outcome? Does he really want us to win and land a 10th through 12th pick?

HE obviously wants to win to keep his job. But he is going about it the wrong way, if you have a problem with your players talk to them in private and do what you gotta do. But calling out your players like that on live tv and screaming at them and giving them monkey faces during the whole game just pisses the players off and they tune you out. If you want respect from your players you have to treat them with some respect as well. I'm not complaining, I obviously want high draft picks this year and next, I'm just saying that in HIS shoes, if he wants to keep his job and respect of his players, then he shouldn't be doing crap like that.

He already doesn't run offensive plays and Igor does all the work on that end, and if he keeps up this attitude and treatment of his own players, he will be gone next season. But I want him gone so he can keep it up haha :D

He said a double negative.

@Craig620: #Suns Hunter, "Quite a lackluster effort the first half. I was not happy w/none of our young guys. Unacceptable." #SunsVsWizards

So I wish I had a penny every time hunter said one of these words, embarrassing, effort, unacceptable, defense. Lol. This guy is getting on bozo the clown level. He is a joke.

Also agree with wang. The best way to have players tune you out as a coach is publicly embarrassing them. They won't trust you. That's exactly what is happening right now to hunter. But that comes with experience which he has little of.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

Did he call out individuals.... or was a 'collective berating' ?

There is a difference.

Dragić 41 min
W.Johnson 38 min
Tucker 34 min
Scola 34 min
J.O'Neal 33 min

what's the point of playing these guys so much in this game? Meanwhile..

Markieef Morris 10 min
Marshall and Marcus 6 min
Dudley 8 min
Haddadi 10 min

Is he trying to destroy this team mentaly? It's a damn 69 game of the season share the min..
I think this team right now should lose all 13 last games of the season to end up with 23-59 (0.280) record.

Also what's up with JO is his injury serious?

It seems to go hand in hand with who Hunter seems to be upset with and who he wasn't. He played the guys he felt tried harder, and sat the ones that didn't. Either way, everyone seemed to shoot poorly, and we are still missing layups and one to two foot shots. :( Even if we lose, I would still like to see our guys play hard, and hit those easy shots.

Frank....Deuce pretty much summed it up right there. I forgot what he said exactly, but it was even worse than that if I recall correctly. I forgot what he said exactly, but Deuce was giving a nicer version too lol. I mean he was just tearing our team and their heart, everyone except for Scola, Wes and Shannon Brown lol.

He was just straight tearing the young guys apart on live tv and attacked their hustle, heart and desire. An experienced coach with respect never does that. It was really uncalled for, especially given the talent level of this team...what the hell did he expect? We were going to beat Chicago's 72 wins record? lol

What he said wasn't wrong exactly, but certain things you tell your players in private and don't embaress them like that on tv. They will lose even more respect and trust for you. As Deuce said, it's a rookie mistake and he will learn not to talk like that about the players on tv like that, especially the young guys....but when he learns it might be too late for him  haha

I didn’t see the post-game interview, but calling out young guys who technically are still learning the game is not good for development.
Young players should be taught, shown example of what is needed of them…. Veterans who know better not putting effort… that’s fine to call them out.
But young players should be “taught”..

Hunter needs to realize he has a “developing” team… not an established team.
