Didn't the number one pick this year average 16/8/1.2 in college?

And even while those numbers are more impressive than Len's, no one was calling him "hands down" the obvious top pick. Bennett was also a freshman, an All-NCAA first team player and a nominee for numerous awards. Len did not make any of the "All" teams in his conference.
Again, I am not claiming Len sucks, but I think to say the only reason he was not the top pick is because of his race and college program, is absurd.

Yeah, but he certainly wouldn't be considered "hands down number 1 pick". Most people were pretty surprised that Anthony Bennett went number 1. I'm not saying Len was drafted lower because he's white though, I agree that his stats are a bit underwhelming. But he did have a helluva game against Kentucky.
I think one of the reasons we didn't get an A is because we spent the majority of our assets this offseason acquiring a PG and a C, when our most talented returning players are a PG and a C. Not that I would have done anything differently, but if Dragic and Bledsoe can't play well together and we can't turn Gortat into something good, these moves don't seem as impressive.

That's a pretty good grade.

At one point Len was slated in the #1 mock spot for both Draft Express and NBADraft.net the week prior to the draft.
