Is Alvan Adams the greatest passing center ever?

While reading an interesting Chris Webber article on Grantland, I came across this..

(about Webber) He is, by some measures, the greatest passing big man in the history of the sport. He averaged 4.2 assists per game over his 15-year career, and he assisted on 20.2 percent of his teams' baskets while on the court — an outrageous number for a true power forward. Of all players listed at 6-foot-9 or taller, only three assisted on a larger percentage of hoops: Larry Bird, Toni Kukoc, and Alvan Adams. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/968 ... -fame-case

Looking back at his career, it's amazing that as a rookie, he averaged 19 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 5.6 apg, 1.5 bpg, 1.5 spg, won rookie of the year, was an all star, and played in the nba finals.

Maybe THIS is the guy to take Len under his wing!

He was great.

I just wish Sabonis would have been able to come to the NBA in the 80s instead of at the end of his career when we was riddled with injuries...the guy had amazing skills.

Every time I hear Arvydas Sabonis' name I think of this.
