Crow Time

It is tough to admit having to eat crow over this team, but they are not one of the worst teams I have ever seen play. Eric Bledsoe = Russell Westbrook/Chris Paul. I just hope he is not like Jeremy Lin because I bought in on him

Plumlee is like the ocean waves it will depend when and where whether or not he will play like a big wave or not, but either way I find excitement in watching him trod around there.

Morris Twins
I can not wait to draft a PF and SF to get the twins out of here but they have all season to change my feeling on them.
Alex Len - Already knew his fate the day they drafted him and never bought in to the hype.

So without further ado I want to say no matter if this team wins 45 games or they win 15 they are still better than I thought and most important I am having fun watching the EB Show.

Bledsoe doesn't have Chris Paul in his game at all but definitely a lot of Westbrook.

If Bledsoe can improve his stamina, mid range game and limit turnovers, he can be just as good as Westbrook.

After I read the post I realized people might think I was talking about Chris Pauls passing, but actually I was talking simply how he attacks the opposition it seems like a combination of Westbrook/Paul.

Passing he does need to keep his teammates involved in every game.

The Morris twins are hard to pin down. They seem to royally suck in the first half of the game, but by the end of the game, they seem to even out. Take this game against NOP, Mark ends with 17 pts, 5 rbds, 4 assist, 2 steals, and zero turnovers, and Marc ends with 16 pts, 9 rbds, 1 assist, 1steal, and 1 turnover.

EB is built in the same mould has the same mindset as Rose/Westbrook. They are aggressive, attacking PG's looking to score but have the ability to make the necessary passes. What EB needs is a reliable shot.

They play well every third game... That's the problem.

Next game it's about 80% chance they score under 5 points and 2 rebounds.

Don't criticize Alen Len just yet, he doesn't have a full season under his belt, plus I'm sure he isn't fully 100% off that surgery.

My son saw Bledsoe for the first time on opening night and said he thought he was watching a young Stephon. marbury.

I hoped you gave him a spanking for daring to say such blasphemy!

But on the real, physically, yes, they're similar, but play-style they are very very different. On offense Bledsoe is constantly looking to push the pace and attack-attack-attack. While Marbury would dribble away 70% of the shot clock before even initiating the offense (I hated the way Steph played point). And on defense Bledsoe is a force, while Marbury was a doormat.

Some might think its jumping the gun to proclaim Bledsoe a better player than Marbury once way, but IMO Marbury was one of the most overrated players of all time. An empty stat ball hog who did as much to hold his team back on offense as he did to help it. I'd take about 90% of the starters in the league right now over Starbury.

Interesting comment made on KTAR radio by Hornacek yesterday. He said Gerald Green is the best shooter on the team and makes the most 3 pointers during drills. The coaches have to get on him to shoot the ball because he passes up open shots.

at airport on a 6 hour layover perfect time to eat some too...

1)I was ok with Eric Gordon deal. Whew.

2)Dodged a bullet with no-harden trade( I would have loved it at the time) if it would have come to fruition we would get to enjoy watching mister Blanks running this franchise to the ground. "The visionary Lance Blanks" who "discovered/recognized the superstar talent Harden had in OKC", "mr. Blanks is a sure-fire keeper"... oh the unseen horror.

Hindsight obviously...

Get Harden , lose Ryan Mcd. Get McDonough, lose harden.

I choose Ryan . Im just so on board with his moves, good bye rationality, finally a true fan ! He can not do anything WRONG, it was "mr.X", "he lied!", "he deceived" ! :)

I think he needs a season of being the man and getting recognized by the league as one of the top guards. I do feel that he currently has the potential of playing out of control/running head first into the wall etc(or maybe Hornacek can level him). Less needing to prove should equal better decisions.

How can you make any judgement on Len?

It's been 4 games and he's hardly played. He's coming off two surgeries and suffering from mild tendinitis. The team expected this. Honestly, most thought he might not even be ready for the regular season, so he's actually ahead of schedule. Until he's actually logged some minutes, it's not fair to make a final judgement call. If we're in the same boat a year from now, feel free to bury him.
