The charge was the correct call. The replay clearly shows Manu set before green left his feet. I admit that isn't normally called a charge in the nba but that is how it should be called.

He wasnt completely still as his right foot was still getting into position as he got hit by Green. 9 times out of 10 it's a blocking call, but there is some merit for it to be a charge. However, usually in close ones refs give the offensive player the benefit of the doubt.

Key word: Usually

Fans and announcers always obsess over the defender's feet, but from what I've heard, the feet really only matter with regard to the restricted circle. The real key to a block/charge call is whether the defender's torso was in place before the offensive player began his jump.

If we can play great games and lose by 1 or 2 against great teams all year this season is going to spectacular! I don't mind losing as long as our players are improving as good as our draft odds are!

Lets be honest though Manu flopped multiple times during that game.

The funniest one is when Goodwin schooled him and he fell down like he got hit by a sniper.

The thing that bothers me most about it, is his overreaction often gets other players injured. Talk about adding injury to insult.

I thought they were really cracking down on this flopping BS. Did Ginobili even get a warning last season? Honestly, any player caught doing it multiple times should just be banned from the league. It's not basketball. He's a talented player, he doesn't even need to pull any of that. Play the damn game like a man. /end_rant

Umm Is there ANY teams that shoot above 80% on the season?

7 teams this year 1 team last year.... So its pretty safe to say your expectations of free throw shooting is ridiculous. Nothing new to see here.

It's not expectation. I've watched basketball for a long, long time. I know that doesn't happen. It's more of a gear grinder. No professional basketball team should really be shooting that poorly from FTs. Makes no sense to me. The SSOL Suns were refreshing in that regard. I don't recall those teams being bad at FTs. Of course, well, there was He Who Shall Not Be Named shooting plenty of 'em.

"Both of the (Morris) brothers, they're tough to guard and Bledsoe in the pick-and-roll, same thing -- he's super fast," Parker said. "He's like a pit bull. A lot people, they really don't believe in Phoenix. I think they're a pretty good team."

Nice to see we are gaining respect from our rivals. I'm actually happy we got written off in preseason power rankings. It feels great to prove people wrong.
