I don't like Greens game 0 assists last night he basically keeps the offense stagnate. Guys like Green, Morris twins, are teaching guys like Archie to chuck. Green is a chucker he has potential to be good but his lack of basketball IQ hurts him. Thats the difference between him and Chandler Parsons. Has Dragic set up for a jumper all year? I mean he has to create his own offense hes open but Green and the Morris twins don't give it to him. Ball hogs.

Meh, Green is a finisher, and lately I would rather have him shoot than try and make a pass that ends up becoming a turnover.

Archie went 0-8 last night, and I highly doubt it was because he was watching Green shoot very well, but not pass the ball. Moreover, we had little assists from the whole crew.

Hey! Something we agree wholeheartedly on! Green is in there to catch and shoot threes and throw down dunks. He is a low IQ player... he has two turnovers per assist as is, more passes from a player who cant create will probably just cause more turnovers. Limit his role and you'll get more out of him.

If Green can continue to shoot 47% on threes, he can shoot as many of them as he wants. It's guys like Melo who shoot 9-23 every night on long 2s with no assists, that are a black hole.

I agree, about trying a Goran-Bledsoe-Green-MARKIEFF or Tucker, Plumlee lineup. Frye needs sit at the very end of the bench.

If that doesn't work, I would look into starting a Bledsoe-Green-Marcus/Tucker-Kieff-Plumlee lineup. With Dragic off the bench as 6th man. Our bench is awful and could use him.

I think Green would be fine if we draw up plays for him. Coming off the bench, he doesn't have Dragic or Bledsoe to consistently set him up.

This doesn't really make sense, because when both Bledsoe and Dragic are healthy, Hornacek keeps one of them on the court at all times.

I may have misinterpreted SF88's post but my point is that Green is fine off the bench when both our PG's are healthy. But when one of them are injured and we bring Green off the bench, either Dragic or Bledsoe would most likely be resting.

His numbers drop slightly due to not playing as many minutes but he's still shooting over 40% from the 3 and over 50% from the field off the bench.

Yep, SF tends to say stuff without looking it up first.

No need for the above

Green only does poorly when he gets limited minutes. Yet, that might be why he got limited minutes that game(s).

When he played thirty plus minutes in the game he didn't start, he still had 21/8. Ish isn't bad at setting guys up, he just can't shoot to save his life right now.

He can't really run an offense either, though... but if the Suns start playing like they should (5 Seconds or Less, as I call it), then he's fine with spot minutes.

Sometimes neither can Bledsoe or Goran. :(

They're still about 10x better than Ish at it. Ish is okay to bring in to be a nuisance on defense and use his speed for a burst of about 1 to 2 minutes here and there, but he should be relegated to the bench otherwise.

I'm not advocating for more minutes for Ish. I'm fine with him living on the bench. All I was really implying was that Green just needs someone to pass him the ball in rhythm.

I don't think so far this season, the players who have played well are the ones that get extended minutes.

Goodwin hardly saw time in the 2nd half of that first Kings game despite playing extremely well in the 1st half.

That doesn't change the fact that you didn't bother to look up Green's stats. If you had, you would have noticed the same output when given thirty plus minutes, regardless of whether he came off the bench or not, at least so far.

Look I understand your passion for the team, just look some of the stuff up before you go off, please.

Oh yea I'll admit I didn't look up his stats. From what I saw of him I felt like he did better as starter than off the bench. I was wrong to say that he sucked off the bench though.
