This years suns team to me is the biggest suprise

In the fact that they are 13-9, tied for the 6th seed and almost everyone said this team would suck and so far, they have greatly exceeded my expectations and as a suns fan I'm glad they exceeding them.

They started out well, and we all thought they would start to drop back to who they really are. But instead they seem to be getting better.

I know, and I love that so much, if they can make the playoffs (with the way they are playing, they well) then I will be very happy.

That's what happens when you start establishing a winning culture. Good, athletic players, good coaching to develop, and a general manager with a vision.

I'm not really surprised. Hopefully we can keep it up. Dragic and Bledsoe seem to be molding extremely well together.

Anyone think, had we retained Beasley, we NOW could have gotten the best out of him? Or was he a lost cause for us regardless?

Lost cause.

He needed to be in a situation where he could be completely irrelevant. In particular, there couldn't even be a hint of the idea that he might be considered Top Dawg...by anyone. Miami's perfect for him: In his wildest dreams he can still only pretend to be 5th option at best, and realistically much lower (he's 10th in minutes).

Now that everyone -- most importantly him -- knows that he is about as important to the team's success as LeBron James' toothbrush, he can finally fulfill his (decidedly mediocre) potential.

The exact opposite is there to see. Getting rid of Brown and Beasley were the best moves for creating such a good culture and chemistry so far.

This next week will be a big test for the young Suns. A lot of opponents with playoff aspirations and loads of talent.

Speaking of which. Anyone else surprised Brown hasn't been picked up yet?

Yup! Tough schedule!

Sunday - GSW
Wednesday - San Antonio
Friday - @Denver
Saturday - Dallas
Monday - Lakers
Friday @GSW

Anything below 3 and 3, and I think we are in trouble.

3 wins and 3 losses may mean we are a fringe playoff team

4 wins or better and I think we start making a good case that we are for real. Everyone is healthy so we have no excuses.

Losing him was addition by subtraction. Cancerous, ball-stopping, selfish, idiotic players like him and Shannon Brown are antithetical to chemistry and Suns basketball overall.

He's fine in Miami because, well, they have LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

I'm really excited for the Warriors game. Should be really fun. Then a revenge matchup against the Spurs.

Lost cause.

There aren't the veteran players here in PHX like he has in Miami to mentor and keep his ass in check. We have one player over the age of 30 and that's Frye and let's be honest, who the f**k takes Frye seriously?

There are only like 3-6 teams that Beasley could have been on for it to work for him and the team. Miami is high on that list.

I'm glad he's doing well. He sucked here but he wasn't cancerous or anything and was well liked by his teammates here. Hope he gets his career around, this league needs more star caliber players especially in the East.

Certainly surprised. After all, Mike James has had a job until recently. Maybe he should consider a career in Europe at this point, but I guess he'll get a job somewhere for the min.

Yea, he's getting paid this year regardless so I could see him waiting until after the trade deadline to find a team.
